An illusion it must be
I saw the title of a YouTube video: The Illusion of Inclusion. I thought this was very profound because I've had to work alongside my white counterparts as a paralegal and I've experienced so much unfair and inconsiderate treatment working in a field where there are only 5% African American attorneys in the country, while African Americans make up between 11 and 14% of the country. I used to think I just had to go to school and work hard and I have, so why am I unemployed?
