*** I reviewed his MRI scan of the cervical spine which was completed on the 27th of November 2025 which is available on the Sectra PACS. This scan showed a straightening of the cervical lordosis and evidence of degenerate disc disease which is quite advanced for his age. There is a congenital fusion at the C2/3 level where there is a rudimentary disc. At C4/5 level there is a central disc osteophyte which extends into the foramina bilaterally and potentially impinges upon the bilateral C5 nerve roots. Similarly, at C6/7 level there is bilateral foraminal stenosis. There is no evidence of any definite signal change in the cord. I have explained the imaging findings to ------ and explained to him that his neck pain could be attributed to the wear and tear in his cervical spine, however that is something that surgically it cannot be improved. I have also explained to him that there is radiological evidence of potential nerve root and cord compression within the cervical spine at C4/5 level however in the absence of any brachialgic symptoms, I do not think that at present it would a intervention. Since there is not that I can offer him, I have; not made any further arrangements for his review and I am discharging him back to your care***

Hello everyone hope you are all doing as best you can with dealing with pain its horrendous im losing hope and not sure where to turn next

I currently have an appointment coming up in few weeks time with the same spinal doctor and worried im not going to be listened to ive copied and pasted above his review on the MRI Neck scan

I constantly have 10/10 headaches and double vision with tinnitus & buzzing head, also have neck crackling, pain and shooting pain in arms (left arm mainly) along with chest tightness and pain in chest area. Ive also attached a photo on my scalp which has formed a bump thats painful and itchy it goes back to my crown there is also an indenture going down side of my head like a crevice line im not sure whether its linked to my neck but everything began when I had burning in my head along with neck tightness and pain i also seem to only sleep for 5 hours and wake up with throbbing behind my eyes and neck/head

Ive had mri scan and ct head scan which has shown nothing on the brain and now im wondering to push for a ultra sound on the scalp? 🤔

My neck MRi shown something so im also wondering should I get a full spine MRI now? 🤔

I appreciate if you've read all this and sorry if it comes across all over the show🙏🏻

Last thing can cervical neck issues cause headaches and maybe even form a bump on my scalp through compressed nerve maybe? Any input would be greatful (not looking for a diagnosis incase it gets removed) more so just any insight or input on the matter

Im just wondering if anyone can shed some light on my situation. Over the past year ive been having, double vision, head pressure, buzzing head/tinnitus, throbbing head when i lay down, waking up every 4 hours like i cant enter deep sleep, pain in my neck and like liquid/crackling feeling in my skull (v strange) brain fog and dizzy sometimes, leaning over i feel pressure in my ears

For the past year and 6 months ive noticed my front scalp changing which is sore to touch and goes back to my crown. It feels swollen, a raise on my scalp (pictures attached)

My GP has said it feels hard which is reasurring that its my skull but i have never had this raise on my head along with the symptoms listed i feel like its the primary driver for my symptoms

I cant do anything and the headache what ever it is, is 24/7 its always there if i lay in the bath i can get to go down to a 7 out of 10 migraine

When i first had the symptoms i went to A&E and they found a sinus bacterial infection, ive had antibiotics last year and its apparently gone now so maybe was a coincidence and was co existing with my other symptoms. Im at a deadend with it all but struggling to live like this

Im now going down the path whether its (iih) or a cfs leak in my spine

They found some issues with my cervical neck spine but my spinal dr said its unrelated to my headaches, double vision etc

I had an eye test and shown no swelling of optic nerve

I started experiencing these symptoms last year

Double vision

Numb forehead

Buzzing head

Tinnitus

Whooshing when I lean forward

Throbbing behind my eyes when I lay down to sleep

Neck stiffness with a liquid feeling going down back of my head

I also keep waking up every 3 hours with 10/10 headaches

I seem to feel better when I'm walking around but when I lay down to sleep I start feeling this throbbing behind my eyes and like an achey head which then I need to stand up

My scalp is sore almost like a bruised feeling and my hair follicles (sting, hurt) when touched which has now made me have a skinhead. I first noticed a bump on my crown but now it has progressed into a V shape on my front scalp (pictures attached)

I wonder what this is? Everything first started from a bacterial infection in my sinuses which had apparently gone now 🤦 and im stuck with these symptoms

Im kind of leaning towards:

IIH

Spine leak

Maybe chiari (but on my scans doesnt seem to be chiari)

I was born with:

C2 & C3 fusion in my neck and i have military neck with no curvature

I also was born with thin optic nerve but ive been told I have no swelling behind my eyes and my eyes seem fine

Ive MRI & MRV and nothings been found only from my Neck MRI but my spinal Dr said the double vision & headaches dont come from my neck so I'm left at square one again 🤦
