What’s this make up style called and how can I achieve it?

Hi ladies! I just saw this lovely lady on my Insta and absolutely love this look. What is it called and how can I achieve it?
I’m still new and learning about make up. I have an oily face and my makeup ends up oily. How do I achieve and maintain this matte look? Also that eye shadow?
Please give me all your tips and teach me your ways. ❤️

Beautiful morning!

Good morning! I went to Sunrise yoga today at Dun Laoghaire and as always, the sunrise was gorgeous. Here are some amateur pics incase you missed it.

I hope your day is equally as beautiful. ✨

The drama queen strikes again 🌱

I went away for the weekend and forgot to water her on Friday before I left (I water her every Friday).

Frame 1 is what I came home to on Sunday evening. Immediately watered her.

Frame 2 is Monday morning before work. Around 7:20AM.

Frame 3 is Monday after work around 8pm.

I think it’s safe to say she is okay now.

My friend is getting married in Oct. How is this for a bride’s maid look?

Hello🌸 my friend is getting married in Oct and I’ll be doing my make up. I had this make up the other day when we went for afternoon tea, and I think my brows could be a bit lighter. Also maybe the eyeshadow could be different? What do we think? I still have to practice my look.

Is this working for my scars?

Hello, everyone 🌸

My healthcare insurance has an online video consultation for dermatology related issues so I did one of those and was prescribed this Azelaic acid. I’ve been using it twice a day for the last 3 weeks.

I just took some progress pics and I need a second (and third opinions); is the Azelaic acid working?

The Dr who prescribed it mentioned that he can’t prescribe a Retinol as that has to be prescribed in person by dermatologists. (This would be a long route as I would have to see a GP then be referred to a dermatologist). I saw online that in Spain some pharmacies do sell those even without a prescription. I will try to get from Spain if that’s the case.

Do you have suggestions on what works/ worked best?

Also has anyone done micro needling while using Azelaic acid?

Have they been scamming me the whole time 😳

I’ve always just accepted their first offer because I didn’t want to be a stingy person but now I feel like they’ve been taking advantage of me.

Don’t be like me and NEVER accept whatever their first offer is. I’m so disappointed in Faith. She is my absolute favourite.

Bringing mukwasha home

Hello fellow Zimbabweans.

I live in Europe and have done so my whole adult life. Soo need your help. I have no idea how to navigate this.

My partner is Dutch and he said he would like to go to Zim with me next year when I plan on going which I think would be nice. I’ve started roughly planning for this trip and need your help.

In terms of accommodation, while in Harare, I’ll stay Kumba kwamai vangu and he will get a hotel. I was looking on booking.com just to see what’s out there. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions?

We will do maybe do the Eastern highlands. Any recommendations on where to stay for maybe two or three night? Things to do or see?

Lastly, I’m thinking of vic falls. I was last there in 2019 and the road wasn’t the best. Do you reckon it’s better now? I remember it being a very long trip so I’m conflicted between driving there and flying there. Flights from Harare also took me by surprise at around 300 pp one way.

Lastly, car rental. Any suggestions? I definitely don’t want to be using my mom’s car for these plans so would prefer renting one. Are there car rentals that allow you to get a car from one city and leave it in another (besides Impala)?

Any suggestions or opinions are welcome. 🙏🏽

Work station set up help

Hello lovely people,

I’m new to macrame and currently learning knots with the intention of eventually doing some plant hangers and many other cool things I see you all making.

My work station situation though is a disaster and not ideal.

How do you prop your ‘stick’ or rings to work on your projects? I think once I fix this and have a more comfortable station I can advance quicker.

If it’s okay can I see how you work on your projects to get an idea.

I’m losing hope

Hi everyone. I decided to start again (for the 5th time) 2 months ago. I signed up to a small group fitness class which is amazing as the workouts are pre planned and there is a PT checking to ensure posture etc is done well. It’s quite expensive for me so I have been going religiously. I go to 3 strength classes/week and 1 yoga session.

Since I started (2 months ago) I’m not seeing any change 😭 there is an InBody test and it’s showing my weight, fat, muscles etc to be fluctuating in the same range; not necessarily going up or down. For instance my weight has been between 88 & 90. Going up and down in that range. I weigh myself weekly.

I’ve been conscious with my diet and I’m still working on it but I’m confused by the fact that even if i had not changed my diet, but I’ve changed my activity levels and strength training; shouldn’t my body composition be changing?

I’ve done my bloods and everything is okay. I use MyFitnessPal to track my food and I’m staying under 2000 calories. I’m honestly so devastated. I wanted to improve my confidence in time for summer but I guess that’s too late now. I have a friend’s wedding coming up late in the year and my dress size is double that of her sister who has 4 kids. I just want to cry.

Please tell me what’s happening and how I can fix it.
