I got the best shots I could as we were leaving.
My begonias have been neglected recently. One of them seems very happy with it. The other is changing color and I'm not sure what that means. Help?
I purchased the P&J (right) labeled and the other as 'unknown specimen with few leaves' (left) that seems to have grown out to be an n'joy.
However, the P&J does have some darker green colors on the leaves here and there and 'unknown specimen' has some creamier colored leaves than I expected.
This is as close to the actual colors as I could get them. Could someone with a sharper eye tell me what the left plant is?
This is what the flowers look like, the white table is after they were knocked off. We have had heavy rains and high humidity if that effects anything. Any ideas?
When we brought Toshi home he had been rescued from a horrible breeder. He was the product of a brother and sister, and has had health problems during his life. One of those problems was a heart murmur. We could tell when he was getting out of breath that his heart was beating pretty hard and gave him rest.
We were sitting at the back of the yard together, the other day, when a firetruck loadly went down the road, scaring him into running to the back door. He had a heart attack, collapsed and died. It was horrific.
I know we don't get to choose how long our kitties live when they have heart conditions. We only got 1 1/2 years with him and he made such a big difference in our lives. I'll cherish that time always.
