This is normal for this type of bee also found in Minnesota

I found her in Minnesota and she's more green and metallic in person unfortunately my camera hates me so this is the best picture I could get of her.

I think he was on the outside obviously but I think he was trying to drink some of the water the leftover water from the spray bottle so when I sprayed it he came off and he landed in the puddle of the spray and so I put him on my hand and he dried off and he was so cute and little and then I relocated him outside also sorry he is so blurry my camera hates me

I have so many flowers and bushes with flowers in my yard this year and the wasps and bees love them but I haven't been seeing very many paper wasps so it's always a treat when I get to see one unfortunately this year for some reason the paper wasps have been a little bit more timid around me which is fine they'll get used to me but I think it's just a newer colony
