How they got the number 182
Do you think each member picked a number between 1-9 and they ended up with 182?
Or was it really marks grandpas race car

Seattle wa, major city. Looking into a change of careers, unless this is a bump in the road for a couple years, traveling isn’t an option for me. A bump in the road meaning no work for over a year, is not something I can do every couple years. Is there hope? I have tried to stay working for the last 4 years and and worked half of that time due to a layoff and the strike. Am I in the wrong trade? I am drowning in credit card debt now. Born and raised here and not going to leave. Will things pick up for long term ever? Why is work so slow here when my friends in residential and commercial trades always have work? And why is local 46 so slow compared to other locals? Is it over saturation in the local? Are neighboring locals like this as well? What do you guys think the future looks like here? I know no one knows the answers, but looking for input.
Are the number one worst part about this job
Break a case for, and also making a pick list for.
When I started I’d break a case open for a 90%-99% full shelf. And I still do if I feel like it or it’s effortless. Lately I’ve been filling 75%-99% and it’s been better that way but still feel like I’m being too ocd sometimes when it isn’t necessary. Still always feel like I’m not doing the job right if it’s not 100% full even though that’s not realistic and it’s wrong.
But I noticed some people don’t break unless they can kill the case (exceptions of course, like when the shelf only holds 7 and the case has 24), and others only bother 50% or less and that’s how they’re getting done so fast and look amazing.
I thought doing that just makes more work for the next guy (has to fill more product, and backstock is larger) but I realized maybe it is easier for the next guy not having to sort through a case condensed of mixed flavors.
I know it depends on what your day looks like too and it can vary with the product (12 pack standard canned soda obviously wanna try and 100% and other things you can’t just face up). And it can depend on a lot of other things too like how accessible/time consuming it will be. Or what your mood is like. Ha.
And sometimes it feels good to dig out a case from the bottom when it was obvious the last guy was too lazy
What do you guys do? I wanna do the job right and efficient but also don’t wanna be lazy.
People only ever say “fill what you need” and it’s very vague always.
Anyone have this that can sell me a copy, thanks
Looking for answers
Is because 20oz soda singles get delivered in plastic bags.
If I got it would Geoff and Kieth be there too or just Anthony ?
Have one friend who said there was a couple questions you needed the uglys for (some math problems), who took it some years ago. Another friend said there is not any who took it a year ago.
I’ll bring it along just incase but does anyone know? Thanks
