one thing i can say that Drake has benefitted from is the increase in lore and storytelling of his career, i think this is a big reason why other artists in hiphop are not interesting to follow, there is no lore, there is no stakes, and they arent a cultural pillar like dot or cole were so ppl dont care.

At some point kendrick will drop and respond to these disses which will ignite another chapter in the story, or quite frankly end the story with drake winning the "war" if w/e kendrick drops is not received well ppl are just gonna say thats proof he can't sustain the "crown" on his own just off the quality of his personal music w/o focusing on drake

theres alot of hate for saying things like this in the sub so soon but i dont care. This meets all the criteria, phenominal drake record, for me its top 3, i dont think theres a legit argument for it not being at least top 5.

he sold 687k units first week, did histories first triple drop and triple chart and MADE a record, broke michael jacksons #1 singles record, broke jayz #1 albums record, broke Morgan Wallen's most songs on billboard record, broke taylor swifts most charting albums at one time record. First time he's had a #1 run for multiple weeks since Scorpion.

It's quite frankly insane.

first artist to drop 3 albums at once and chart top 3 is a crazy flex that literally only michael jackson has done, and michael didnt drop them all at once, he just had 3 of his albums charting top 3, drake deserve to wear that white glove

its very obvious by the reaction to this album, the hate is simply not holding up because its genuinely a great album
