A giant golden-crowned flying fox photographed hanging from a rooftop in the Philippines, a real bat species and one of the largest in the world with a wingspan that can stretch past five feet despite the animal being a fruit-eating bat rather than anything predatory.
RC: Misunderstood the passage VS misunderstood the answer choice
My RC review became a lot more productive when I realized that two wrong answers can look identical on the score sheet, while actually coming from completely different failures.
For example, you miss an inference question.
- Possibility 1: You built the wrong mental model of the passage. Maybe you misunderstood what the author was trying to say, missed a contrast, or thought an example was the main argument.
- Possibility 2: You understood the passage perfectly well. But you evaluated the answer choices badly. Maybe you chose something plausible but too strong, accepted an unsupported inference, or talked yourself out of the answer actually supported by the text.
Those two possibilities require different fixes.
If the problem is passage comprehension, I need to work upstream: paragraph function, argument structure, viewpoints, transitions, what evidence is supporting what claim.
If the problem is answer-choice discrimination, rereading more carefully may not help much. I need to study why the trap looked attractive.
So now when I review RC, before looking at the explanation, I try to reconstruct what I thought the passage was saying.
If my summary itself is wrong, that's a comprehension failure.
If my summary is basically correct but I still chose the wrong option, the failure happened downstream.
That distinction sounds small, but “RC weakness” is way too broad to be actionable.
I want to know where in the pipeline my reasoning broke.

Ruby Bridges a Six Years Old, Walking Into History
The photo shows a mob of adults screaming and pointing insults at a small child walking to school, that child was Ruby Bridges, and in 1960 she became the first Black student to integrate an all-white elementary school in the American South, at William Frantz Elementary in New Orleans.
She had to be escorted by armed federal marshals every day just to walk through the crowds. Norman Rockwell later immortalized the moment in his painting "The Problem We All Live With." Ruby Bridges is still alive today and has spent decades as a civil rights advocate and public speaker, often returning to speak with students at the very school she once had to be escorted into under guard.
Rabbits With “Horns” in Colorado
Those spiky, antler-like growths sprouting from cottontail rabbits’ faces around Fort Collins, Colorado, aren’t a mutation or hoax, they’re caused by Shope papillomavirus (also called cottontail rabbit papillomavirus), first identified by Dr. Richard E. Shope at Rockefeller University in the 1930s. The virus, spread between rabbits by fleas and ticks, produces wart-like keratin growths that can lengthen into dark, horn-like spikes, especially in summer and fall when biting insects are active.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife has confirmed it’s harmless to humans and pets and doesn’t spread across species, the rabbit’s own immune system usually clears it eventually, though the growths can interfere with eating if they spread near the mouth or eyes. It’s also the leading scientific theory behind the centuries-old jackalope myth, and the same viral family later helped researchers understand the link between papillomaviruses and cancer, including human HPV.

Time changes for Good , i started with Absolute zero
I started with absolute zero like No portfolio, No brand contacts, No idea how much to charge and No experience negotiating with brands.
My first few months were mostly spent figuring things out , creating sample videos, pitching brands and learning what kind of content actually gets attention.
The biggest change came when I stopped trying to make every type of UGC and started focusing on content that brands could actually use as ads, I studied brand ads, worked on my hooks, improved my editing and started creating videos with a clear purpose instead of just making them look good.
That changed the quality of opportunities I was getting, Now I’m working with brands, getting repeat projects and earning more from UGC than I ever expected when I started.
To those who are demotivated and are struggling , please don’t lose hope just keep going .
