Hello everyone,
As an introduction, I passed my B.Tech in 2019 from a tier-1.5 Govt. College and for last 6-7 years , I have been teaching physics for JEE ( online) and have been earning well enough.
But as the market is getting volatile, I am planning to settle in a stable job.Being over 30 ( turned 30 this month), I don’t have the option for Banking Jobs. Hence, I am planning for WBCS.
Please help me where do I start from ?
I am planning to appear for next year ( this year I will appear just for an experience).

Hello folks, I just turned 30( UR) and hence will be eligible for only one post - JSO this year. Last year ( my first attempt in CGL ) I got 329 in CGL, but couldn’t clear Computer.
Anyone else in the same boat as of mine?

I was 29 years 11 months 18 days old while filling up this year’s SBI PO form and this is my first attempt ( and the last) in PO and hence I lack the experience of the preparation.
Can the veterans suggest me to be cautious of few mistakes they had made during their preparation?

Hello folks,
I have just crossed 30 and hence will be appearing just for one post this time - JSO.
I have appeared in CGL only once before. Scored 329 in CBT -2, but couldn’t clear Computer.
I wanted to give this attempt being better prepared.
I resigned today from my present job ( 18 LPA )for two reasons-

1. not really enjoying it
2. not being able to manage preparation alongside job.
3. In case I can’t clear it this time, I will be preparing for state

PCS.
Please let me know about your opinions.

Hello, I have appeared in CGL just once previously. ..
couldn’t clear it due to Computer despite having a score around 330…
planning to appear this year only for JSO.
Any other aspirant like me who is preparing alongside a fulltime job ?

I just crossed 30 ( UR). For JSO, I checked age criteria is upto 32 years. So , just to confirm, I can apply for this post right?( despite not being eligible for other posts)

Hi everyone,
I need some help regarding career advice.
I passed my B.Tech. in 2020 from a tier 1.5 college ( CGPA-9.2), cleared GATE with a 1k rank in 2020 and got admitted in MTech. For some financial reason, I had to leave MTech after first month and for last seven years , I had been teaching for JEE ( my own institute).
I am 30 now and want to resume my M.Tech and eventually go for a PhD. Will it be the right decision to go for it?
What are the obstacles I might face in future.
To note, I have no ‘formal job’ experience.
