Private building inspectors for new build

We're coming up to the final stage of our new build, with handover estimated to be about a month away but no set date yet. We'd like to get a private building inspector to do our final one, and I've gotten a couple of quotes which have varied greatly.

One that I've seen be highly recommended many times was Rod Poyser. He has quoted us $2000 and was very good explaining everything over the phone. Another we were quoted through Jim's franchise was $400. Obviously these are very different quotes, and I was just wondering if anyone had recommendations of inspectors or if anybody could give insight as to why Rod would charge $1600 higher than another inspector?

TIA

Update: had another great chat with Rod and we've decided to go ahead and use him! Will try to remember to update again after the fact (waiting on a handover date confirmation) to let everyone know how we went!

Pressure baby gate won't fit

We're renting and won't be at this house for much longer as we're also building. Wanted to get a baby gate for the hall mostly so the dog can come in but not trample our baby.

The doorway is 86cm, therefore we needed a 10cm extension to fit that (baby gate is 73-82cm without extensions). However the problem lies in the skirt boards, they're about 81.5cm apart. The 10cm extension then makes the range 83-93cm.

How do I fit this baby gate without screws, glue, or anything that will damage the rental?

Combo feeding cows milk and breast milk after 1yo

My supply has dropped significantly since going back to work. I pump twice at work for an 8 hour shift, and when I'm home breastfeed baby morning, night and before both naps. At work now I cna only manage to pump 40-60mls every 3-4 hours. My freezer stash for daycare and days when I'm at work is almost at an end.

I plan to still pump and breast feed as often as we are now, but I send bub to daycare with 150ml bottles of breast milk and if I'm only getting 80-120mls every day I pump, that won't be sustainable. She needs 2 bottles (300mls) when I'm working in the morning as she often is still asleep when I leave.

My questions is, to "combo feed" with breast milk and cows milk, how should I go about it? I was planning on just putting whatever I manage to pump into a bottle then topping the rest up with cows milk. Should I keep breast milk and cows milk separate? I just worry daycare won't make the right amount, as I've been sending her with 150ml bottles and they always say she had 120ml, but say she drank the whole lot. So obviously they don't pay attention to how much is in the bottle.

What does everyone else do?
