I'm planning on moving into a new apartment with my girlfriend and thought the BILT card would be a good way to earn points on rent. We plan on using the BILT card to put all of our home recurring bills on and rack up points to use for traveling.

I've seen a lot of wordy posts with the different tiers and benefits and all that jazz, but I just want to know in layman's terms if the BILT Blue card would be good for earning some type of points on rent. Our rent payment is around $3k and we thought we would put our joint expenses all on that same card... but if that isn't worth it and those points on bills, groceries, etc. would be better put to use on another card, I'd love to get people's honest opinion. I'm about to get engaged and am so curious about a few wedding logistics. I've never had friends get married/get engaged, and wanted to ask:

1. What is the first thing you should do when you get engaged and have let it settle for a bit? I'm a huge planner and have no idea how you would even BEGIN to approach wedding planning if you're planning it on your own!
2. Is a wedding planner necessary? We're two women getting married and we're both type A planners, but don't want the planning to take away from the fun or add stress.
3. When you order/purchase your dress, do you just take it home with you and keep it there until the wedding? I'm a bride marrying a bride, so are both of our dresses just going to be sitting in our apartment?
4. Where is the best place to buy ring insurance if its not provided by the designer/house? Is it necessary?

it’s my favorite scent and just saw the candle was on the website… i’m wondering when all the other items that are cozy cashmere scented drop? ik it’s a tight window closer to august/september but if anyone has any insights i’d adoreeeeee!!

Are there any reputable temp agencies that people love in LB or even LA? I'm moving in a few months and I'm an actor; I've been working doing temp work and I enjoy it, and would love to get any insights if anyone knows any good staffing firms. TYIA!
