I want to change over from the dreaded Windows slop, I have a question though,

How much gaming performance will I realistically lose making the change from Windows 11
With a RTX 5080, 64gb DDR5 6000mhz, i7 13700k?

I'm guessing I will lose access to some Nvidia Features, And I have regrets not getting an AMD card now.

I've done all my preventive maintenance,
IE: Spark plugs, All fluids, Replaced the Rear diff bushing, pads & rotors, new tyres, slapped a CBE (Invidia Gemini) on, and flashed a Z1 level 1 Tune.

My question is, as it's just a fun weekender, I tinker on and drive around on the road. Do I bother with some 2.5" long tube CAI's, and the Invidia HFC's?

Is the price worth the squeeze? I mean I'll never say no to more power but how much of an actual felt improvement is it for the cash.

I'm looking for some new JRpgs to play, I was hoping for some recommendations and also maybe some discussion about what kind of jrpg franchises are making new content for us older gamers.

Whether that be adult, or just darker mature stories.

I've tried picking up a few newer games, like the new DQ and trails in the sky, but they just seem too child like & bubbly with there characters tone and themes

With my older age I'm starting to want some more.. depth, the childlike hero story isn't doing it for me anymore, need some shock value, maybe more darker tones or mature themes, even some adult content to really push some great stories.

I've heard Shin megami tensei is the way to go? But i'm not that keen on "pet collect / battlers"

For reference:

FF7 is my penultimate favorite.

And I really enjoyed expedition 33, that really blew me away.

Platforms: any is fine, I prefer PC but have access to all of them.

The current trend I'm seeing in new cars is putting the gear selection as a stalk, where the indicator usually is, I loathe it.

I test drove a few new cars recently like the Omoda 9 and Skoda Kodiaq, especially the Chinese & Euro brands are moving this way, I reckon I put the Omoda 9 into Neutral at least 3 times during the test drive
