I want to do seasonal swaps myself in the future on the Tesla I’m getting soon. Unfortunately my dad didn’t teach me much of anything to do with cars, so I’m not sure what I need to do the tire swaps. I have an impact driver I’ve never really used on anything, I think I need to get an impact socket set? Also a tire change kit so I can torque the wheels to the right setting? And a 3 ton jack. Anything else? What are the best steps to do it right? What do I need to take into consideration?

Does it top out at 32Amps AC charging or 40Amps? I’m seeing conflicting answers online. Can someone with the vehicle clarify?

I’ve got one on order for Sept ETA (fingers crossed) and I had a really hard time trying to get an insurance quote since my insurance broker needed a vin to give an estimate. I was lucky enough to find a used 2026 MY RWD vin that I was able to give to the rep so he could input it in and give me a rate. I’m in Oakville with a decent driving record and my quote was $1700 a year, which is crazy good since I’m currently paying $2000 a year on my 2022 CX-5. I expected it to go up a bit, pleasantly surprised to see a lower rate.

Beyond saving a ton going with the standard vs premium, I’m very happy with my decision given that the insurance gap would have no doubt been significant. I could easily see insurance being $3k for that trim.

Just shipped along with the carrying case and dual screen add on. I hope I don’t regret that add on, I know it’ll be clunky but I don’t don’t play a lot of DS or 3DS games, so for the few times I do I can use that. I couldn’t justify the Thor when I didn’t need a dual screen all the time and didn’t want to deal with the size and bulk when just primarily playing single screened retro games.

It’s nice to see that retroid stuck to their promise of getting black units out today. I’m hoping this the last handheld I buy for a long time (hopefully the last one ever).

I’ve seen no change for weeks an all of a sudden it says the pick up location shifted from Etobicoke to Hamilton. Is that an indication that there’s some movement in my order? My EDD still says late August.

Seems like an excellent wheel for the price? Looking to change out the wheels on the model y standard to these and use the stock wheels on some winter tires.

Should I buy the Tesla ones or a 3rd party one? Any ones you guys recommend?

I have a base model y on order for Aug-Sept delivery, if a Model Y RWD Premium from Shanghai makes its way here before then for a similar price, it would a be a no brainer to switch. With the recent launch of the Model 3 RWD Premium for $40k, it seems more likely no?
