Just wondering what's people's thoughts who know more than me as this will be my first allotment. Does it look like i should just cover over for winter and weed in the spring to start from there. It's the fence section of rhe left up to beyond the shed. Wondering what your first thoughts would be if this was you. 💚

First time trying to grow pumpkins this year have just had to move around some stuff to make a little growing frame for it. Rescued the old bin from a skip with this is mind. Do the little yellow nodes become pumpkins or do they still need to be pollinated?

Also trying to grow red onions for the first time noticed one of them had bolted so read that it was just best to take it out now. Hopefully the others ae doing a bit better.

The spring onion is just entertaining me now with its giant form. I know i need to harvest it soon but waiting for a nice recipe to find to use this beast in.
