I’ve been wanting to clone my service rifle for a long time, but I couldn’t remember what company made the one I carried or the exact set up but I just found this photo! I can’t get this thing operating properly. It was given to me by a friend to see if I could get it working. There is a magazine which goes in and out easily, and I’m able to take the backstrap lever thing completely off and then pull the bolt out but when everything’s together, I can’t get the charging handle to charge. When it’s put back together, the charging handle will go back about a quarter of an inch, but that’s it. Looks like somebody previously messed around with the safety as well. Any suggestions? My local gun show had a guy selling hundred packs of Midwest Ammunition subsonic 220 grain TMJ 300 BLK for $58 each. Paid $174 for 300 rounds. What do you guys think? Is this a good deal? I thought so!
