After a lot of patience, watching listings and waiting for one to come up at a decent price, I finally managed to snag a copy of Folklore, Myths and Legends of Britain!
Time to disappear into the woods and start reading about ancient rituals, horned gods and things that probably shouldn’t be summoned 😬

Fast forward six months to my birthday and I’m opening presents from the Fiancé...
Turns out she was the one who bought it.
She'd secretly bought it while I was fannying about trying to authenticate it, then somehow kept quiet about it for SIX MONTHS just to give it to me for my birthday.
She is an absolute bastard but I love her for it.
Mastodon have been my rock through a lot of shit over the years, and Brent in particular, along with his various side projects, has always meant a mega amount to me.
I was due to see Fiend Without a Face in Oxford. I had this silly idea in my head that I would buy the crazy bastard a drink. Sadly, he passed away only a week or two beforehand, so I had wanted to get something signed as a little token to myself.
