Who's this Lifestyle Creep everyone keeps talking about?

It seems like he comes up in every single post, but I don't think anyone has ever said who the creep actually is. Can someone help me out?

If Mad Men made its debut in 2026, what do you think the reaction would be?

How do you think people would react to the show? What would they be discussing?

In a post-Me Too world, I imagine the interpretation of Don's character would be a lot more on-point, with much more discussion about patriarchy (which wasn't as discussed when the show first aired). And I imagine the manosphere / podcaster bros would absolutely love Don and praise him as an enviable character and someone to look up to ("men being men" sort of thing).

So I'm curious what you all think--what would discussions of the show be like if it aired for the first time in 2026?

Where can I find pints of Halo Top ice cream?

Odd question, I know, but it's a a low-calorie ice cream, and I can't seem to find it at my local bodega or grocery (and I don't feel like making the trek to the Target on Atlantic, where I know they have it). Does anyone know a bodega or grocery where I can find some? I know this is a super-specific question, but I'm banking on there being other ice cream-lovers out there, lol.

Edit: moved by all the love from my fellow calorie-conscious ice cream lovers. You guys are the best, thank you (except for the one crank who downvoted this? lol, why? whatever). Thank you again!

How should I take photograph's of the priest's letters?

Hello, all! I hope you're all doing well and moving towards citizenship. I have a question that I'm not certain about, and I wanted to throw it out to you all.

My grandfather was born in 1915 and was in Scotland in 1940 for the war effort, where he met and wed my grandmother. I'm having trouble finding his baptismal records etc. but I did find--and this is really cool!--a letter from his parish priest at home to the parish priest in Scotland describing who he is, where he's born, the parish he's from, etc. I'm so glad I found this--it's a really fantastic piece of family history.

I want to include it in my submission, but my question is: how do I photograph it? I know there are specific ways to capture documents like this--how should I go about it?

Any help you can provide would be wonderful. Thank you! :)

What tips and tricks do you have to fit in minutes?

!Hola a todos! I'm at about 100 hours and I'm continually amazed at how great this content is. And--I want to use it more!

So, I'm curious: what advice can you give me on how to maximize the time spent on DS? Do you organize your day around it? Make sure to have "auto-continue" set up? etc.?

I'm all ears to whatever tips and tricks you se. I have a super-tight schedule, but I want to be one of those people who has 120 minutes every day :)

I need convincing about vocabulary words

Hola todos! I'm just start with Dreaming Spanish after about 150 hours elsewhere, and I *love* it. Good stuff.

My only concern is about vocab. I just watched a video (I think it was Sofia in Mexico and about her car) and she used the word "tire" and "trunk." My question is, I guess, how am I going to remember these words? I'm doubting that there are many more videos (maybe none?) discussing tires and trunks, and I already forget the Spanish words for these terms.

I understand that the idea is to *only* listen to these videos, but for terms that might not come up again and again, does it makes sense to memorize these terms using flashcards or something like that?

Thank you all! So happy to be here! :)

Edit: This is great! I'm convinced. The point below about "low volume" words really speaks to me, and if I end up really being interested in cars or something, then it wouldn't be a low volume word. Thank you all! :)

I've tried all the "go-to" tactics: cool room, warm shower before bed, magnesium, etc x100 and gotten mixed results. Nothing is really working. I want to knock myself out and sleep more than 5 or 6 hours.

With that in mind, what do you take as a "sure thing" if you want a good night's sleep? Is it Nyquil, melotonin, something else?

I'm desperate--I'll consider anything you mention! : )
