Can someone confirm if it's possible to activate the mentioned add-on on the $30 BYOD plan?
I don't need it all the time and wanted to save some money on not getting the $35 plan with the Canada data included.
The description says that I need a plan $40+ for that add-on.

The service is good—until something stops working. Once you have a problem, dealing with support becomes a nightmare.
I opened a ticket three weeks ago, and there has been no progress. Nobody texts, emails, or calls me with updates. I have to contact them every week, only to hear the same response: “We’re working on your case.”
My issue is that international calling suddenly stopped working. Support seems unable to fix it. Apparently, as long as calls to Pakistan are working, they consider the service fine, even though calls to other countries are not working.
Three weeks later, I still have no solution and no meaningful update. They are asking for 5 other numbers in that country, and I don't have those. This is crazy.
The error is:
Your call can't be completed at this time.
The phone call from the other carrier is working fine.
I honestly don’t know what to do at this point.
A little history: I bought my 2022 Highlander V6 Platinum brand new in March 2022.
From the beginning, I had some smaller issues: wind noise, a replaced front radiator grille, and during that repair they apparently broke clips on the headlamp and couldn’t properly align the left fender. Eventually they fixed the panel fitment, but the wind noise was never really resolved.
Those issues now feel minor compared to what happened later.
At around 43k miles, I developed an engine oil leak. Toyota resealed it for free, and I got the car back after 4 days.
At 46k miles, the rear axle pinion seal started leaking. That was also repaired for free.
Then, about a month ago at 77k miles, I got another oil leak — again.
This time a different dealership repaired it and kept the car for a week. I have a third-party extended warranty, so the repair was covered. However, when I got the car back, there was a scratch on the driver’s door, and the dealership refused to admit responsibility.
Today I went back to the dealership, and I couldn’t even make it home.
About 100 miles after the repair, I started hearing what sounded like detonation/pinging, then knocking noises, and the car lost power. I had it towed back to the dealership. I’m still waiting for answers.
This is extremely frustrating. I bought this car expecting Toyota reliability, but after multiple leaks, and now possible engine trouble right after the latest repair, I don’t know what my next step should be.
I have a feeling I need to get rid of it despite the fact that I have extended Platinum warranty valid for another 20k miles and Limited Powertrain warranty till 200k.
I bought a 2026 VW Jetta SEL at the beginning of March and currently have about 2,300 miles on it.
I’m looking for an extended warranty / service contract with coverage for at least 100,000 miles. The dealership gave me an Assurant extended warranty brochure, but I’m not sure how good it is compared to the official VW Drive Easy warranty.
Has anyone recently received a good quote for a VW extended warranty, preferably VW Drive Easy or another reputable plan? Also, is Assurant a good option compared to the VW warranty?
If you can share the dealer/contact or approximate price, I’d appreciate it.
