I’ve had the iPhone 11 for years its finally giving out. Funny enough not through fault of the phone but I actually recently took off the case to clean it and dropped my phone and it cracked so I filled a claim. iPhone 11s stopped being made in 2026 will they send me another iPhone 11 they find in some old office building or will they send me something more recent?
I am trying to get the iPhone 16e deal by porting number from Google Voice.
I set the GV pin and paid the $3 to unlock the number.
The Metro checkout system seems to go all the way through. It checks the number, says “Congratulations! Your number was reserved”, and excepts credit card.
The credit card is charged, but the money is immediately returned and the page says, “Please contact us to complete your order.”
I tried two different credit cards and addresses with same results.
I worked with customer service on the phone for an hour before I was disconnected with no luck.
If DJ or anyone else has suggestions, I’d certainly appreciate it.
I just bought a Moto G in Norwalk, CA last week. I got a bit nicked by the store that signed me up for the $10 insurance. I didn't ask for it but thought great I can use it when I cracked my screen. The "premium" insurance has $0 screen replacement deductible. I contacted assurant and the want $25 to provide a replaced screen. Called Metro, same "well you got to pay it if that's what Assurant says." The brochure for their insurance specifically states $0 for screen replacement. Anyone run into this?
I dont want to use vulgar language but are we for real. I pay for unlimited. I want my unlimited to last the entire month not half then you tell me "OH you used your data allotment" like when was there a data limit for Unlimited text, call, and data. This took half an hour to post by the way.

Last summer I was interested in trying metro. I went online & entered all the info needed & my port never completed. The site said an error occurred & said I should call metro. I called & they weren't able to solve the issue & told me I needed to go to a store for help. I was able to get to a store & the worker was really nice & managed to get the port canceled. Im thinking about switching to metro from mint & am concerned Ill have issues again. Is there any reason my port in got screwed up? Also as a mint customer, am I disqualified from getting a free phone since tmo owns them?
Open account for my gf free phone unlimited data Amazon prime got the insurance 10 month later she drop phone in water we go in they said oh that phone discontinued the insurance does not cover that model anymore all we can do is give you a ten dollar credit for a new phone .Needless to say gf talk me into staying with them because she didn't want to lose her number she had for years because the guy said the number not transferable to new Carrier even though it was a version number to begin with told them cancel the insurance don't everything go fine for two years they talk me in to adding a second line so I drop my carrier two weeks in on the second line I start getting 30 to 50 spam calls a day block them but they just keep coming different # every time I use my phone for work so I drop the second line go back to Verizon 4 months later I noticed Metro been charging me 96.00 a month for one line and a tablet when I was only paying 69.00 before I go in and ask them why my bill so high after I drop the second line he gets on his computer and says I don't see anything that make your bill to be that high you have to call customer service ( keep in mind that I'm only home twice a month on the weekends ) call customer service they tell me they don't know why and I'll have to go in to the store to find out both give me the run around and I have been paying $96 a month for a 11 months now I go in to the store ready to go to jail because I'm going to hurt some one if they tell me to call customer service and that the first thing I said to the guy at the counter he say let him see what he can do you got your phone with you I said all the other time I did but this time I don't .well there's nothing I can do he must of seen something in face because hang on minute wrote down a phone number call this number you can find anything out about your account its an automated services when I got home used the gf phone called that number found out that they added insurance on the tablet and phone and a three dollar charge for support with our my permission so I go to the store and tell them everything wanting a refund for the extra charges they been charging me tell me to call customer service because they don't have the authority to with there ok customer service tell me they can't add and the store can't add extra service unless I requested it I didn't request it and I want a refund now (I have told this lady everything from start to finish) been on the phone for 2 and half hours with her she say I'll have call this number to get a refund give me a # I call it some guy answers I start telling him he all wait I repair phones I have nothing to do with billing or insurance so I call customer service ask for the lady I was talking to 45 minutes later she get on phone realizing it me she all well you should have kept paying it when found out and hung up on me . Everyone hung up on me when ever I called back. This make me wonder how many people they do this to because if have hundreds of thousands of people using your services what the different if you scam a couple of thousands of people scattered a cross mass distance when you have more people coming to you every day signing on . 2000 people at 500 a pop is a huge chunk of change . I purchased a phone from Metro PCS on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The device was shipped through UPS, but it NEVER arrived.
When I first called Metro PCS, they told me their system showed that I had already received the phone. Later, after checking with UPS more carefully, they realized that I actually NEVER received it.
Metro PCS then told me to contact UPS and file a claim. When I called UPS, they informed me that I could NOT file the claim because I was not the sender of the package — I was only the recipient.
I called Metro PCS back and explained exactly what UPS told me. Metro PCS said they would contact UPS directly and that I would receive an answer within 24 to 48 hours.
After 48 hours passed and nobody contacted me, I had to call Metro PCS AGAIN. They made me repeat the entire story from the beginning and then told me once again to wait another 48 hours.
Meanwhile:
This is absolutely ridiculous. I was left without a phone and without my money because of an issue that was NOT my fault.
Worst customer service experience I have had in the United States.
I've been using the sim since 2021, the one that comes with the little dark blue/purple square on it. Anyone who works for Metro know if newer physical sims are used now? If so, I'd like the newer one, if not I'll just activate via esim.
Has anyone else had an issue with connecting consoles to metro hotspot? I cant seem to get internet for my switch, ps portal, or my PS5 and it isnt something ive had an issue with before. Im only asking because my campus wifi blocks multiplayer and most games but i still wanna be able to play. also, if metro is the problem does anyone know a better provider that wouldnt have these issues?? thank you in advanced and sorry if these are dumb questions but its been bugging me a while.

I assume them tying the IMEI is some leftover relic from the CDMA days, but it's 2026.. why can't we just swap SIM cards like the rest of them?

Tried dialing in yesterday and they were like, couldn't port. More than 4 attempts in 24 hours, try calling us tomorrow.
I want to also take advantage of the Chase cash back offer which is only applicable to online offers. Does anyone know what is going on, is my address flagged, or email, or number? If I use a different number, would it succeed?

I’m looking for some help with an issue regarding the Amazon Prime benefit on my plan.
I recently signed up for the $65 plan and was initially assigned a temporary number. I registered for the free Amazon Prime benefit using that temp number, and it worked perfectly. However, once I ported my permanent number over, the Prime benefit was deactivated.
I’ve tried re-activating it, but I’m stuck in a loop. Customer care keeps resending me the activation link, but nothing happens when I click it. When I try the process on my computer, it asks me to enter my phone number to confirm my identity, but I never receive the verification text.
Has anyone dealt with this after a port? Any advice on how to get the system to recognize my new (ported) number for the Prime benefit?
EDIT: screw the store, calling the customer service line is miles better.
Oddly enough, the prices for phone upgrades for me are much cheaper in store than they are on the app, according to the chart the guy showed me. It was under the "always connected upgrade" column.
I've been waiting almost two months for them to get a certain $50 phone in stock (in store) because it's $200+ in the app, but have had no luck.
He said it's very weird that the my-metro app shows different prices for everything, the cheapest deals being $99 for only a couple that aren't what I want and full price for everything else.
Anyone had luck getting their app to show the same as what is available in store?
Do you think this chase offer applies to the monthly bill statement or only to new purchases?
