5g gateway extremely slow

As of today, my gateway randomly became extremely slow, and is now averaging 1-2 mbps. I usually average above 110. Its also at 4 bars of service. Ive factory reset, I've unplugged it, left it off for an hour and still no fix. Is there something I can do, do I need a new device? Im only using it for my pc and phone. I have no idea what's causing this.

Can you have two lines on one phone? Looking to get a business line

Small business owner looking to add a 2nd line to my existing phone.

Wondering if Metro lets you have two lines on one phone?

Attempted it online but it rejected my phone IMEI.

6 month Metro Plan Renewal Options

For those looking at the 6-month Metro plan. I have posted the renewal options in my account after porting in on July 2, 2026.

You can only choose from the monthly options at $60, $50, and $40.

*NOT available: No option to renew at another 6 months nor do you have the option of the $25 monthly plan.

The $25 option would be best for those looking for long-term consistency for several years. Otherwise, these renewal options are not ideal. I hope this helps others who are looking into this.

My Moto G 5G from metro was dropped and the touchscreen is now faulty, and there's a chip in the frame so my warranty is void. How much does it usually cost to fix or replace this phone?

My money is really tight right now but my phone isn't working properly at the moment due to dropping it

What options do I have here with Metro? I'm really anxious cause this phone is important for things in my life

I want to buy a phone and port in from other carrier but...

Currently with us mobile, my current promo with USM is about to be ended.

Im planning to port in to metro and get a iPhone 16e.

But when I am adding the 16e and the plan to the cart, it asks me the USM account and pin# before checking out.

But how can port in/transfer from USM to metro when i just buying the phone& the service?

Shouldn't I wait for the phone to arrive before I activate it with account and pin to transfer?

Can someone have done this before provide more how to details please?

Thank you so much

International roaming?

I arrived in France yesterday and have not gotten a text about setting up roaming. I was told by several Metro employees this would be no problem. Now, I can't have phone service while I'm here?!? What the hell? Any help is appreciated.

Physical SIM *and* eSIM?

Have a question about what Metro may or may not allow. I've got a line that is active with Metro, on a phone I recently got (it's not eligible to be unlocked yet). This line utilizes a physical SIM card.

The phone also has an eSIM.

Can I activate a *second* line with another carrier (not Metro) on the eSIM while the phone is still locked to Metro? Or no?

My intent would be to have both lines active at the same time. I know this is obviously possible, and I've done it many times before on unlocked phones. Just curious if it's possible on Metro while the phone is still locked to Metro?

Upgrade/Accessories Scam -- Need advice

I would like the community's' opinion and advice on how to proceed with the following situation:

Walked in to an authorized dealer to purchase a new phone to replace a broken one. The "rep" explained he wanted to create a new line for the promo and then cancel it at the end of the month and all these other things. I declined and told him I just wanted to purchase the phone and activate it. At this point, I guess he took this as a green flag to scam me for the full price...

They did all of the following without my consent and absolutely deceptively....They added a line to the account, activated the promo, swapped the device and left the ghost line lingering on the account on a device that I do not recognize or possess. Then they loaded the phone up with accessories which they said were "complimentary" and charged me 378 for a Samsung A17, supposedly. They also did not produce a sales receipt -- which I'm certain would be for the accessories (A phone case, screen protector and a cheap battery operated bluetooth speaker).

I contacted metro, the customer service rep took my complaint and filed it, requesting an investigation. She was very empathetic and upset with the situation. She transferred me to her manager since I requested to initiate the refund process. This is where everything took a turn -- the supervisor basically had a very dead, insincere tone and the following was the takeaway from the conversation:

-The allegation is serious and will investigated.
-Metro "cannot" initiate the refund process.
-I must deal with the "authorized dealer"
-He said that no other department or position can take any action on this account
-He explained that the retention department will not be of any assistance

I haven't gone back to the "authorized dealer" yet and they won't answer their phone. My question to the community is -- what do you think of this situation and what do you suggest I do from here?

What does it mean when your phone calls always echo?

This haas been happening for a while and it drives me crazy. Because it throws off the conversation and I'm soo focused on this. That I'll end up stumbling and mumbling over my words.

Is this a service issue? A phone issue? Someone tapping my phone calls? I am looking to probably getting a new phone soon anyways. But I feel like this has happened on many of the phones I've had.

T Mobile - discontinuing plans

I received a text message from T-Mobile yesterday (6/29) that my current plan will be retired and I’m being converted to a new and improved plan effective 7/13/2026. I hesitantly clicked the link and it provided minimal additional details. So I called and after an hour plus on the phone, they could not tell me what my actual bill will be in the future. They estimated that it would be $70 more monthly but they couldn’t say that for sure because taxes will no longer be included. I had to ask for it to be escalated and will receive a callback within 72 hours. Anyone else experiencing this?

Need advice how to proceed

I got a new line / account with MetroPcs as a work phone for Amazon flex, as I got tired of using my main phone ( iPhone 15 pro max T-Mobile ) as I use that for social media and keeping in contact with my main job & family. Got the phone for free (moto g stylus) just paid the 65$ for the line , but now I got tired of the stylus and want to get the galaxy s26 as it’s a good deal ($300) but it’s only for new customers. What’s the work around ?

Just Switched yesterday

Did I miss the window for a free phone? I ported a phone line over from T-Mobile, and then brought my Apple Watch as well. For some reason it wasn't working online so I went into the store, the rep was nice enough, didn't try to upsell me (though the watch line was $10 in store vs $5 online. I ended up not adding my tablet line as the store said it was lowest price $15/month vs the $5 online.

After I set my account up I looked online and it says watch and tablet lines are $5 after you've been a customer 30 days. I went with the $60 plan with AutoPay and Prime included, excited to still have access to T-Mobile Tuesdays.

Anything I should know as a new customer? Tips/tricks welcome!
