Supposedly, Metro is launching a $75/70 plan tomorrow to replace their now-discontinued $65/60 plan. It adds back Amazon, but I haven’t been able to get more info. Hopefully, it’ll come with more than 25GB of hotspot and Unlimited Premium data.
In case anyone wondered if the old $65/60 plan they just killed off would be replaced, it will be replaced, supposedly tomorrow, Mon Oct 5! It will get Amazon back and likely more hotspot than the old one. No details yet, including the point of deprioritization, if there is one.
The current best plan is not worth it in my opinion. For $5 less than before, you not only lose Amazon, but hotspot is down from 25GB to 20GB. Any promo info saying 25GB with that $60/55 plan is wrong.
I don’t work for Metro, but am just passing on info from a knowledgeable rep who says the new, high end plan is set to be unveiled tomorrow!
Stupidly, I went down to the $60/55 plan yesterday when an ill-informed rep said that I’d only lose Amazon (which I already pay for annually). There’s a 70GB limit on it before deprioritization.
I believe this started today at Best Buy for all Unlocked Air models, including all colors and memory capacity! This is per Macrumors. I checked BB and it’s true!
I switched eSIMs from my 17 Pro to 17 Pro Max hours ago and Enhanced Video Calling hasn’t populated in the Settings yet. This Pro Max is on iOS 27 so I hope it isn’t a beta issue.
Has anybody tried video streaming on the new Unlimited Ultimate 2.0 plan? The cheapy Simplicity’s premium streaming option evidently adds 4K streaming not just for 5GUW, but for 5G NSA & LTE!
Since Unl Ult 2.0 is new, perhaps they improved streaming speeds on there, too.
I am expecting delivery of a 17Pro Tank, as well as 17 Pro Max Tank on Monday. If I buy the 3 Colored Button Packs for one of the phones, will they fit the other phone ?!
