Has anyone tried the (full frame) Viltrox 85mm f/2.0 EVO on APS-C?

Just wondering if anyone has tried the (full frame) Viltrox 85mm f/2.0 EVO on APS-C? I'm aware this would give a 135mm full-frame equivalent field of view on APS-C, also that there now exists a Viltrox 90mm f/2.2 lens for APS-C - but the 85mm is cheaper, gets great reviews, is about the same size/weight and if I ever get a full frame body, could be used on that too. I don't mind about focus breathing, as would only be using it for stills photography.

Best 6.3" screen phone for photography (in UK)?

Hi - I'm looking for a small-ish (preferably no more than 6.3" max screen size) phone that's good for photography (not so bothered about video) to replace my 6.2" Samsung S24, which I haven't been too impressed with for photos - in some case my previous Google Pixel 5 seemed better. I'm aware there are many Chinese phones from Xiaomi, Opp, Vivo etc. now that are good for photography, but most of these seem to have 6.8" or larger screens, which I find difficult to use with my relatively small hands. I don't need blazing fast performance for gaming etc., as don't game on my phone.

I want a phone with an wide, ultrawide and a decent 4x or 5x telephoto lens, as well as a good selfie camera, preferably with autofocus for the latter, which some phones seem to lack (e.g. Sony Xperia 1 VIII).

I can get a Google Pixel 10 Pro at a very good price with discounts and trade in, though I realise the Tensor CPU is not that great, but not sure if that's an issue if I'm not gaming? There's the Vivo X300 6.3", but not sure how well that compares. There's the iPhone Pro 17, but I don't really want to move to iOS. The Sony Xperia 1 VIII looks almost perfect, but is a bit larger than I want (6.5") and only has a 12mp selfie camera with no autofocus, and it's expensive. Any thoughts about these or other suggestions?

Are you meant to run Campagnolo CULT BB bearings without seals in the cups?

I have a set of Campagnolo CULT BB bearings and Chronitect races I want to use for a steel bike build, with Ultra Torque threaded cups. Am I right in thinking these are meant to be used without seals in the cups, as they're not necessary with these bearings and would introduce unecessary drag? It's a summer bike, so is unlikely to experience heavy rain.

I'm aware just a light oil is meant to be used with CULT bearings (was thinking of using Bronson Bearing Oil, usually used for skateboard bearings), rather than grease.

Best small (6.1-6.4" screen) phone for photography (in UK)?

I'm looking for a smallish (6.1-6.4" screen) Android phone that's good for (primarily stills) photography. I currently have a Samsung S24 (the 6.2"screem version), but am underwhelmed by the image quality from the cameras (I actually thought my previous Pixel 5 look better in some situations).

I have small hands and don't like large phones, think 6.4" is the absolute maximum size I would tolerate (which rules out some of the recent good, but large, Chinese camera phones).

As well as the main lens, I need wide angle and telephoto lenses (ideally 5x optical zoom or more for the latter), preferably all with reliable autofocus.

I also require a decent quality front camera for selfies/close group shots.

Low light performamce is quite important.

Not interested in any AI stuff, except where it may help with autofocus/framing/denoise.

I don't play games on my phone, so it doesn't need to be fastest for those.

I've been considering getting a lightly used 256Gb Google Pixel 9 (the Pixel 10 doesn't seem to offer much more that I'm interested in). Maybe the Vivo X300 (not the Ultra version).

Are there any other phones that meet my requirements worth considering? Budget can be fairly flexible, but preferably under £900. Am based in the UK.
