Why don't Democrats care about winning?

Rule 4: Vaush during today's stream has been talking about how Democrats don't care about winning, hate us on a personally level, and slavishly worship Israel above all things. Why are they like that aside from the idea that we're in some kinda of sick TV show where the writers have just decided that we are to be ruled by the most cartoonishly evil, one dimensional villains imaginable? What's the point of a political party that doesn't care about having political power and actively fight those who do?

The Odyssey, but instead of a week-long journey from Mediterranean Troy to Ithica turned into a ten year journey, it's a three hour journey from Troy to Ithica, New York turned into a ten month journey of shenanigans.

What is even the incentive structure that Vaush speaks of driving the capitalist doom spiral atp?

A big part of the unisegment Vaush made about the Capitalist class making everything worse is incentive structures. Yet I don’t understand what the incentive in driving the world off a cliff could be when it hurts everyone, including the Capitalist class. Sure they want infinite growth, but infinite growth doesn't exist because we only have finite resources. So the incentive that Vaush speaks of doesn't exist and the forces that be seem to know this, except for the stupid ones, like Trump, yet they're doing the path of annihilation anyway. So what's the incentive when there is none? Just ending the world and making everyone suffer for the love of the game like a cartoon villain such as Skeletor or Commander Cobra? The ruling classes have to be mentally ill, atp, with a cancerous growth of cognitive dissonance in their brain making them think they can do this forever while simultaneously knowing they can't.

Anyone else feels like the Vaush fashion segments are a little tone deaf after all the doom and gloom going on?

Who the Hell are 'The Chosen' and why did they ruin my game?

I was busy subugating an AI empire to expand my Fed and then I got a contact notice with a Fanatic Purifier called "The Chosen" and this triggered an inter-federation civil war between myself and my subjects with no fault of my own. This pretty much ruined my game. Why did this happen and how can I avoid it from happening again?

"Natural Hierarchies" can't be natural if they need artificial enforcement.

A lot of fascist and conservative thinking is based on the idea that the world is made up of "natural hierarchies" with a special people, mostly white, straight, rich men, on top and everyone else below them. Yet their argument that their hierarchy is part of the natural order falls apart when it comes to them having to forcibly enforce their hierarchy. If their hierarchies were "natural" and part of the "universal order", then they wouldn't need to enforce their hierarchies as Nature would enforce it for them in the same way as gravity or entropy.

Trying to buy an audiobook of Les Miserables by Victor Hugo that is on sale. I am using the Amazon webpage on my laptop, but when I try to make my purchase, I can't confirm it because the option to confirm purchase is faded, and when I use the checkout cart method I keep getting the error:

"There was a problem

An error has occurred while attempting to process your order. Please try again or check back later."

This is very frustraiting. I tried customer service and I was eventually told that i need a credit or debit card paymethod as a "backup". I don't use those and I don't want to bother asking my family to use their's. This is why I use Amazon Gift Cards to begin with.

Is this an actual thing? Or is it just a bug on the website's end?
