Can someone please recommend an angle grinder and diamond cup wheel combo that works?

I feel like I’m losing my mind. Every diamond cup wheel seems to be too large for the angle grinder guard or too big for the shroud. Anyone have a combo where the guard or shroud actually covers the cup wheel to protect the user??

I’ve googled myself to insanity trying to find something that works. Even bought 2 different sets of grinders and cup wheels and nothing fit properly.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all

This session was a shit show at Autobahn CC

This first session was a disaster. Not only was the BMW slow and refusing to give a point by, but someone slammed the brakes on a straight, and another driver entered from the wrong pit entrance!
Luckily most of these drivers didn't show up to the second session.
This was at a Laps Inc event at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois
I was driving a stock ‘23 Supra MT

My painfully slow laps around Road Atlanta in a stock ‘23 GR Supra MT.

It was my first time around this track and I thought my simulator experience would prepare me for it. Not at all! This track is terrifying to say the least. The speed you have to carry through the turns is insane, add that to concrete walls and massive elevation changes means I just couldn’t push as much as I wanted to.

Any advice would be appreciated! The car was bone stock too.

Chasing a green McLaren around the Autobahn Country Club in my stock GR Supra

I was trying to my best to catch the McLaren but he was so quick.

He had way more power so I was trying to go faster in the turns - also banked on him getting caught up in traffic. Turns out I was the one getting caught up.

2023 GR Supra MT - Autobahn CC Full track - 2:50:27

There was a lot of traffic at this event so it was hard to get any clean laps. Luckily this one had no traffic.

The car is 100% bone stock including tires, brakes, and fluids. I think I could get into the 2:40s with more practice. It was a hot day too, 28C/82F

Also thank you to u/ragingduck for the awesome mic and telemetry app recommendations.

Tracking with a plugged & patched tire?

Hey guys, I recently got a puncture in my tire and had it professionally plugged and patched. I attached some pics to show the plug and tire. They’re Michelin pilot super sports.

I wanna track the car a few times this year.

What do you think?

Edit: thanks everyone for the replies! Really appreciate it

My car went into limp mode after stalling it

I accidentally (stupidly) stalled my ‘23 MT Supra a few days ago and got a “drivetrain malfunction” warning. I quickly turned the car off and back on then drove to an appointment. The car is totally stock.

On the way, after 10 mins of driving, it just suddenly went into limp mode and got it towed to the dealership. After the tow the car drove like normal but still had a tech take a look at it, he said everything looked fine.

I’m a little paranoid, but so far the car has felt normal again. Anything to be concerned about? Looking for any sort of feedback. Thanks all
