Repeating a T-kurs Studienkolleg but in another language - has anyone done this?
As reluctant as I am to do a T-kurs Studienkolleg again, I might have to for the sake of getting admitted to literally any TU.
I did a Studienkolleg 2 years ago at CBS International Business School in Cologne (regretfully) when I was freshy 18 and didn't understand the consequences, those being the fact that an English FSP cannot be magically compatible with a German one upon obtaining a C1 German level.
So now here I am, fluent in German, FSP (in English smh) in hand, ready to test my luck with Universities, and lo and behold, I'm getting rejections left and right because my FSP was in English and is therefore only valid in the NRW. I should've expected this but my 18y/o self didn't register the gnarly consequences of an English FSP.
I've emailed some Studienkollegs about my situation, asking if I can do a T-kurs Studienkolleg again given that the first one was in English which technically makes it a different curriculum (given the Hauptpflichten sollten Deutsch, Mathematik, Physik, und Chemie in einem Deutschstudienkolleg sein). For context, Google says that T-kurs Studienkollegs cannot be taken more than once; I'm supposed to change subjects in this case. But I'm hoping that the English factor will change this.
Does anyone have any experience with this? This feels like a really stupid niche international student problem. Full-heartedy regretting attending CBS rn and keeping my fingers crossed that TU Dortmund wants me
And I fear that TestAS cannot save me despite all the praise I've heard about it
