Took advantage of the Vault sale this weekend and my LAAT/LE just arrived ... but seems to be missing its crew. I thought this was supposed to come with Captain Enoch and two Night Troopers, but it looks like I've received a ghost ship of a different sort. Does anyone have a MiB pic for em to reference so I can definitive declare "nope, they've abandoned ship" before I send a note to customer service?

I'm imagining somewhere along the packing process some shrinkage occured, and I understand that since can probably find the crew for three times the price of the ship on eBay or wherever. I'm being good humored about this since this is the first time this has happened to me in several dozen ship purchases through various vendors and markets.

Chasing limited editions isn't my game, but I do like completing sets so looking for advice on trading limited edition cards to trade for a number of non limited editions in same set. Got a few 25cc Legendaries and 250cc Epics I'm interested in trading for the non limited edition epics of the same set/series. Any advice on recommended trading ratios?

18 cards? Ep 8 had one of the best animated "stunts" of the show, and they skimp on cards for this ep? We don't even get the chase, we just got a card Devon scoping out her ride and another one of her ride's rightful owners menacing. Seems like they had a lot they could have pulled from to make the set 20 like the rest of the run.

A Topps app card got me wondering. In ESB my initial memory of it was that carbonite freezing of a life form was a relatively dangerous process, through in RotJ it seemed carbon freezing sickness was something Leia was able to research and walk Han through almost like a first aid text book, though I imagine Leia did some research as part of the rescue planning. Looking back at ESB it could be that carbonite freezing of sentient life was a known technique and the concern was more that the Bespin facilities weren't designed for that sort of freezing. I can't remember in Clone Wars where Anakin has an earlier carbon freezing scheme whether they were just going to go for it or were using an established medical concept.

Anyway, it seems in those movies and shows, carbon freezing is something of an exotic technique; but in the first ep of Mandolorian we have Din stacking slabs like its a long haul trucker convenience ... and I guess I'm wondering whether either canon has commendted beyond the movies and shows as to how routine or exotic carbon freezing was. Like was it a medical short term cryogenics, where people with exotic illnesses could have their illness arrested while a complicated cure was formulated. Or was it more a carceral thing, where I guess you could have some societies using carbon freezing in a sort of Demolition Man way where you "lose time" but retain your lifespan, suspended, in some justice systems?

Not sure how many people on this sub are on top of the current G.I. Joe comics scene, but I figured maybe someone's in the know (and thus winning half the battle).

I'm not really up on keeping track of recent issues and comics news even when I try so TIL about Image/Skybound putting out a series of Sssilent Missions one shots within (I think) the ARAH continuity. Basically, Baroness, Copperhead, Firefly, Zartan, and a class of recently graduated Crimson Guard each get a one shot in the style of the classic Joe issue "Silent Interlude" (dunno if they keep to the format so the last panels reveals something surprising and future story shaping about the focal character). Apparently they did something similar with Joe characters in the past couple of years as well?

What I'm wondering is whether Skybound/Image has a standard timeframe turnaround for when a collection of issues gets published in a collected volume. It looks like both of their Joe continuies (ARAH and Energon universe) regularly get collected, so I'm curious if there's a like a regular schedule as to when things appear as a collected volume.
