ISO of a CPA/EA in central Ohio
As the title states, looking for somebody who is willing to help me with quite a few years of unfiled taxes. I’ve called around a bit and it seems most people aren’t looking for new clients or seems hesitant to help…

I am a 1099 worker and have been for years. When I was young I didn’t know any better and honestly didn’t make very much money (I am a tattoo artist). I then met my now wife and we started a family. After the anxiety of taking care of my family (my wife hasn’t worked a job in atleast 11 years) I just kept getting behind and basically screwing myself year after year. I also battled as a functioning, depressive alcoholic most of the years. Now, 3 kids later and my wife still a SAHM, I am shifting gears and changing my career as a w2 worker. I’d like to get right with my back taxes and obviously avoid any wage garnishments. I have more receipts saved than I can fathom and a small bit of saved money so hopefully get help with getting the ball rolling. Any advice?? How F’ed am I?? Im trying to stay positive and do the right thing, but of course the anxiety and uncertainty of it all is weighing heavily on me. Any advice is super appreciated. Thanks!
Still trying to get in with a company in Columbus Ohio as an apprentice. I’ve called all the numbers I’ve been told to call. Sent all the emails to ones I was provided with. Spoken with my local BA who other than telling me to call certain companies, wasn’t much help. I was even directed to call a couple non union companies with no replies. I am 100% green and would be doing a full career change. I know the works there and I know there’s plenty of work to need some green hands on deck. What gives?? I don’t want to seem like I’m deserving of anything, because I know I’m not. But I’m a hard worker, very capable of doing the work, I’m just trying to get my foot in the door to prove myself. Anybody in the area have any insight that could help a brother out?? Again, I’m not looking for my hand held, but maybe a little help getting in contact with the right people.
Have a family friend willing to bring me to the low voltage field and he’s currently working for e2. Anyone have any experience with this company??
Taking all the steps I can to get into 669 here in Ohio. I get directed to a number I need to “text” about the apprenticeship program at this company or that company. I get no response. I’m super eager to get my foot in the door, I obviously don’t want anything handed to me but I’d also like any advice on how to be a desirable candidate. Any certs I can snag on my own time? Just looking for general advice and any directions/studying I should be doing to hopefully land a job with a company here locally. Thanks

Just submitted the online application for an apprenticeship for local 18 (district 3). What’s the likelihood of getting a call/email? Are the entry tests pretty easy?
I’ve called 3 different companies in my area (Columbus, Ohio) and all 3 wanted a different way of contacting. Text, email and phone call. I’ve done both with no reply from either as of yet. I’m looking to enter as an apprentice and eager to work. I’m not desperate as I’d be switching careers and I’m currently still working my current career but am willing to drop everything when I get the call. How long does the process typically take? What should I expect upon initial interview? Anything I should prepare myself for if I get a call?
I am currently looking to become a fitter in Columbus Ohio. I’ve also considered getting into the inspection side as well. Anybody in the area need or know a guy that needs an apprentice?? From what I understand there isn’t a “hall” to call or fill out an application. I’ve been told I need to seek out individual contractors and go from there. Any advice? Ready and eager to get to work!
I’m a 38 y/o male, had my first outbreak about 10 yrs ago. No idea when or how I got beforehand. I had the first initial outbreak and didn’t have another one until about a month ago. The outbreak had about a month ago was almost as bad as my first one, but as it was starting to heal (which took forever), another small cluster appeared but went away in just a few days. I was clear for about a week or so and now another small spot is developing. What would cause the long duration of ZERO symptoms to now all of a sudden they appear to be one after another?? I’m taking lysine with monolaurin. I do not take antivirals, mostly because I haven’t needed them. I will say I have been under a lot of stress lately, but I’m always under stress and it doesn’t seem like my stress is anymore or less than it has been the last 10 years.
Potentially looking to pick up a 2003 sequoia that’s super clean but owner says it has low compression on cylinders 1 & 4. I know the 2uz had issues with valves burning up or carbon build up. Any other ideas as to what the issue may be??
First and foremost, I’m a 38 y/o male and been married about 14 years. Me and my wife have both been faithful the whole time, with confidence.
A little of my story as I am hoping to clarify my circumstances and maybe how much HSV came about…. When me and my wife had met, she disclosed that she was seeing a guy that later disclosed to her out of spite that he had genital herpes. She quickly went and got tested and was told she was ok..fast forward a year or two later, we met and began our relationship and have been together ever since. To be fair, before I continue, I know for a fact I have way more partners under my belt that she has. Not a point of bragging, but that obviously increases % my way of coming into contact w something. Now, fast forward to about 4-5 yrs later, I have my first initial OB. No idea how or why, but it was definitely gnarly and had classic signs and symptoms. Went to urgent care and was given a visual inspection, told what was happening and sent on my way. They basically wanted nothing to do with w me…. Now, we have 3 beautiful children together and she has never once had an OB, as far as we know. The only thing I do know, is she has told me that around when we started dating, she started getting random yeast infections and she says she’s never had issues with them in the past. We practice unprotected sex OFTEN. I am fixed, and we’ve never been all that concerned prior with protection anyways. Is it possible that my wife has completely avoided this altogether?? Is it possible she does in fact have this and only presents as what she assumes is a yeast infection?? I’m really mostly asking out of curiosity because I find it odd that out of nowhere, years of being with the same person and out of nowhere, get my first OB and she’s never picked it up from me.
Hello, I am currently looking into fleet detailing as sort of a “side hustle “/ part time gig to hopefully grow and become a main source of income. My current line of work is flexible and I’m independent so I can supplement income as needed. I also have may connections with folks that own tow companies, RV world and dump truck businesses. I feel I could maximize my connections to get the ball rolling…
My question: is anybody else doing fleet detailing? Would you be able to recommend equipment for getting started. I know with fleet detailing, some of the major equipment used is different than standard car detailing.
Also, if you are fleet detailing, are you doing mobile and on site jobs? Do you have your own place?
I’m currently just trying to iron out details to get things moving.
I genuinely appreciate any advice, thanks!
Quick backstory: I’m 38 years old and had my gallbladder removed when my early teens due to excessive stones. Ever since the removal I have had persistent GI issues that took me YEARS to manage to some degree. Got into a pretty good diet, started intermittent fasting and for the most part, had it under control. When I hit about 24 years old, i developed a slight drinking habit and continued to drink multiple days a week for years. Why the drinking matters will come into play later… I was also a pack a day smoker from my early teens until a little over a year ago when I quit and switched to velo nicotine pouches.
About 6 months into the nicotine pouches I started having persistent GI issues again. Heavy bloating, the most sulphuric smelling gas, inconsistent stools. Sometimes constipated other times I’ll have just a few minutes before sh*tting myself.
Eventually I started to express concerns for my reoccurring GI issues that I thought I had under control and started doing some digging on forums. I came across some threads of other people convinced their nicotine pouches usage was causing them similar GI issues. Now, where the drinking comes into play, I started noticing that if I drank ANYTHING my GI issues would go crazy! Worse than when I wasn’t drinking. After noticing this, I stopped drinking and have found my stomach issues to be somewhat resolved but continued the nicotine pouches.
I have since been taking berberine daily and pepto when my gas gets out of control. It definitely seems to be helping a ton of motility and keeping my stools somewhat consistent. I believe j need to give up the pouches, especially because I’m becoming more and more convinced that they definitely tipped my gut overboard . I am not diagnosed SIBO and not necessarily claiming that is my issue, but the symptoms are very consistent with it and was curious if anybody else has had similar results from nicotine pouches.
Thanks!
