AirPods. Not bad mic or disgusting?

Hello, dear Redditors.

My question is simple. I want to buy AirPods. And so far, I can't figure out from numerous reviews about the quality of the built-in microphones. The same applies to the standard AirPods and the Pro series or Max. Some say they're good, while others are against it.

So, if I talk to people through AirPods on the street with the average noise of cars, people, children, and the city background, will they hear me well or poorly?

Please share your opinions or advice on which models you have, and what's the voice quality like during conversations?

Apple Watch Ultra 1-st Generation. Best for me...

It's time to share some good news with you all.

I now have an Apple Watch Ultra. And I'm so happy. It's a really cool watch from Apple.

Backstory: I've had a Casio GW-9400 since 2015. Then I got myself an Apple Watch Series 3 42mm Nike+. Then I finally wanted a bigger watch and got the Series 4, 44mm. But I was very disappointed with the battery life. So I went back to Casio. While I was "forgetting" about the Apple Watch, I started looking at the Casio GPR-H1000. It seemed like a "tank" in the smartwatch world. And so it happened that I was sitting in a cafe, chatting with some friends. They had Apple Watch Ultra 2 and 3. And my friend had the first-generation Apple Watch Ultra. She bought them in 2023 and wore them for a few days. Then she just put them back in the box.

And now she gave them to me. They have 100% battery capacity. I've found the battery life to be truly amazing. It lasted me two full workdays and two full nights. And I still have about 36-40% left. I track my health metrics, receive notifications, and do one 60-minute workout (run/walk) per day. The AOD feature is disabled because I don't see any point in it.

As for the straps, I only have nylon ones because my hands don't sweat. And from the kit for divers.

I read all about them. But I'm incredibly happy and satisfied with the first generation.

Apple Watch Ultra 1st gen (watchOS 11) + iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 18). Help please.

Hello everyone, dear Ultra series owners.

Could you please tell me? I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with iOS 18.7. I'm looking at an Ultra series watch. A friend of mine has one in perfect condition, with 99% capacity. It runs iOS 11. He specifically didn't update it because it works better on that version than on version 26.

My question is simple: will I have problems if I take it and try to connect it to my phone?

I just know that if it had version 26, I wouldn't be able to connect it to my phone. Will there be a forced update prompt when I link it in the Watch app?
