Dear Pokemon Company: please have Koei Tecmo develop more Pokemon spinoffs immediately!

Seriously, both titles were homeruns for the franchise in my book. Super addictive and fun, arguably more so than most of the mainline games.

It's not even hard to imagine a Pokemon Warriors game at that, in fact I wouldn't be shocked if we see such a thing within like the next 5 years, given their history working with Nintendo for various Zelda Warriors games and the Fire Emblem Warriors game.

Note: Yes I'm aware Pokopia was developed specifically by Omega Force, but they are a division of Koei Tecmo.

When Warner and Paramount merge their streaming services, will they keep the HBO Max name, Paramount+ name, or go with a new name altogether?

My money says that HBO Max wins out. They've already stated that the HBO brand will live on as the prestigious entity it is. But at this point it's unclear if that just means for their productions or if it goes beyond that to the streaming service.

Having said that, Paramount+ as a streaming service does not come to my mind as in the top tier streamers, which include Netflix, Disney+/Hulu (soon to be merged themselves), Prime, Apple TV+, and HBO Max.

The tier below is where you see the services with not enough going on to be with the big guys and typically have far worse UI/navigation, this includes Peacock and Paramount+ at the top of this tier, but also shit like Tubi or Pluto.

Now, Paramount is the one buying up Warner, not the other way around; so they have the power to say, 'Everything is Paramount now,' including the streamer where you find all of the content. But I think that move would do more harm than good in terms of losing subscribers; and again, they recognize the weight of that HBO brand, which I wouldn't doubt played a part in why Max reverted back to being called HBO Max.

As such, I'd bet that HBO Max will remain the streaming name and UI after the merger. Especially when you consider how much more intuitive and user friendly the HBO Max app is over Paramount+.
