Project management tools for those with ADHD?

I work as a senior project manager but I am client based (government), not consultant based. My primary tasks involve working with consultants to complete projects and includes; sending out RFQs, receipting invoicing, report tech reviews, aiding with logistics for site investigations etc... I also have ADHD which means that my current management tool is my brain and just remembering everything as it whizzes around. That was fine for a while but I now have some junior staff that I look after and that is not helpful for them when I say I’m just going off on a feeling that something is due.

What are some project management tools that are useful for ADHD brains and can help me to keep track of dates things are due, when people are out on site etc… I don’t necessarily have milestones that I need to achieve, I just need to make sure the consultant is submitting reports when they are due and I know when they are onsite. I have started a few different programs but just revert back to writing things down when I get time.

Looking for baby swim class recommendations

My beloved Mercy Baby Swim at My Lawley Hospital is closing at the end of the year as they couldn’t get a new location with a pool. Now I’m looking for a new swim program for my 3 year old to transition into.

Does anyone have recommendations within about 30 mins of Bassendean area that offers a baby swim program in a private pool setting? I don’t want to go to a public pool as they are too noisy and distracting for the both of us.

How does everyone manage outings with a toddler plus all their things without a pram?

So my toddler (2.5) ditched the pram like a year ago which we have largely been okay with because it was bulky and annoying to set up/pack down. I’m getting to the point where I want to start taking her on more outings but I can’t carry the nappy bag (backpack style) and her when she starts getting tired and can’t walk anymore.

She’s toilet trained so our nappy bag mostly consists of water bottles, snacks, a change of clothes and my phone/wallet/keys.

If I don’t have the nappy bag, I just bring the carrier and put her in a back carry but that isn’t possible with the nappy bag we have.

How is everyone else managing outing with a toddler and their stuff when they don’t use a pram without their arms falling off by the end of it?

How do I manage this oxalis?

I have been working on creating a native garden and verge for the past year. I put down cardboard and a thick layer of mulch and all the other weeds got the hint and died except this bloody oxalis. What is the best way to deal with it so that it eventually stops coming back? It’s really hard to pull out of the area particularly in image one without it just immediately snapping off.

In Perth, WA if that helps at all.

Toddler pull ups without characters on them?

My toddler is having a bit of a night time regression and to save my sanity, we need to go back to something kind of nappy at night.

We used cloth with her and I just want to see if this regression will last before pulling them back out. However, it seems like all of them have bluey, Mickey/Minnie mouse, princesses etc… over them. I don’t like the marketing aspect of using characters on nappies as I don’t want to encourage her to wear them over her undies and regress even further.

Are there any that can hold up to a toddler wee, small enough for 12kg and just a neutral pattern?

My toddler dropped her nap and now she is constantly having accidents 😫

We toilet trained over Christmas with great success and got to the point where she was dry overnight and generally went independently. Well would have an occasional accident every other week but generally, it was happy days.

Well she dropped her nap over the last few weeks and it is just accident after accident. It has been three consecutive nights of bed wetting and at least one accident a day. We are trying to get her at least 12hrs overnight but first thing in the morning and in the afternoon/evening she’s more likely to have an accident because she’s tired.

Is this just a normal regression? Will it improve or is there anything that we can do to reduce the accidents (particularly overnight)? We don’t want to go back to nappies because we had a clear break and told her that there were no more.

I’m looking for a new casual winter jumper. I really like the style of the Patagonia jumpers but I hate the feeling of polyester.

Does something like them exist in natural fibres or at least mostly natural fibres?

My toddler has been a thumb sucker since she discovered it was better than a dummy around 5 months. She mostly sucks it to get to sleep and if she’s upset, stressed or scared. However since we weaned a few months ago, that thing is in her mouth a lot more.

Both my husband and I were thumb suckers and stopped when we were around 4 so I’m guessing there is some form of genetic component. However, neither of us needed braces to fix it.

We have tried to encourage her to have another comfort item but that thumb keeps working its way in there so I think she likes the stimulation of it. We also try and redirect her and ask her to take her thumb out of her mouth if she’s doing it absentmindedly.

I feel like she will just stop on her own when she’s ready as she has done with everything else (e.g. bottles, BFing, nappies) but my husband is fixated on it and wants to use the bitterant nail polish which feels a bit cruel at her age. I’m also sick of the comments that I get where people trauma dump their messed up teeth that required braces or that a family member is like 60 and still sucks their thumb and how it has ruined their lives.

Is there anything that I can do to transition her off the thumb? Or am I better off just waiting it out and hoping that she will stop on her own.
