Why is no one currently running against Del Duca for Mayor?

I went on the City’s website yesterday out of curiosity to see if anyone else entered the mayoral race, and I was surprised to see that in fact no one else has. The deadline to register is coming up fast.

Why is he running uncontested? Are people generally pleased with him as mayor?

How to get to the World Cup game today?

Hey everyone,

Travelling from north Vaughan to the World Cup game today and I was just wondering what the best way to get to the game is?

  1. Going from VMC to union then connecting to the Lakeahore Go or streetcar to exhibition place
  2. Driving to a lakeshore Go station like Mimico or Ling Branch and taking it from there?

Any opinions?

Update: took the subway from pioneer village to union, then the 509 streetcar to the stadium!

Update 2: took the go train back to union from exhibition (surprisingly not a long wait at all) then took the TTC back to pioneer village! Thanks all for your help!
