Almost done with the figures themselves, still have to finish up the Yumipons and then glue helmets to everyone.

Still trying to figure out what the heck I have these guys standing on in the end. I was thinking of a “mountain” of three plates stacked on one another, with 5-6 patapons on each level. And the flag bearer at the top.

Also I don’t know if I call it a statue or a gaming collectible, whatever it’s going to be cool when I’m done.

Tried working with the author of this ratchet and clank model but neither one of us could figure out how to smooth out all the rough edges without it breaking everything. Not sure how much this would cost to look over. Any ideas?

I plan on making a little Patapon collectible statue out 3D printed parts you see in the first photo. I couldn’t find anyone else online that has attempted something like this. Many of my favorite PlayStation games had collectible statues made in the past except Patapon obviously.

I’m still working out the final design, since Patapons are a small army I’m going use at least 9 of them instead of a single guy. I’d also like to find a way to include the chant words of power somehow. Maybe glue them somewhere.

Anyways if you know of any 3D printed Patapon stuff available online please let me know! Or if you have suggestions on a design that’d be cool too.

I 3D printed and hand painted this little gaming statue a few months ago and have been wondering what someone would pay for it. I’ve always wanted the official one but it is far too expensive for me to buy today.

Obviously the face for ratchet on my statue isn’t perfect but that’s not something I can fix. This was just a fun project for me to do for a weekend.

The last image you see is an official Ratchet and Clank statue that released in 2017 for $200 and there was a limited amount produced. Today they are worth $2500+

I am looking to commission someone to take 2D reference images and turn it into a 3D model that I can print out later. I made an advice post yesterday so making an official paid request one.

There is no moving parts. I can provide multiple reference images and answer questions to help with accuracy. Since he’s a character from a videogame I believe you could rip the character model from “Ratchet and Clank Going Commando” if that helps.

Took 6 days to paint and superglue. Had fun with this little project.

Only thing I messed up on was Clanks colors but I can live with it.

Just wanted to share my progress a fun project I started recently. Got the 3D printed parts and just finished priming everything and baseplate is finished. I’ve never painted a 3D model before so hoping I don’t butcher that part.

I’ve always wanted the R&C gaming-heads statue but it’s very rare and goes for about $2k-$3k easily on eBay every now and then. Printing only cost me $22!
