Advice needed: BVB (Jyotish Alankar) vs. ICAS (Jyotish Praveen) for a structured Vedic Astrology foundation?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to formally start studying Vedic astrology. I've been self-studying for a while however, I really want a structured foundation before I dive any deeper.

I'm currently torn between two major courses and would love some input from alumni or current students. I will be opting for the online batches for either program.

Here is what I have gathered about both so far:

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan - Jyotish Alankar

Lineage: K.N. Rao Institute of Astrology, guided by the teachings of K.N. Rao.
Cost: ₹26,000 for the course.
Timing: Weekends, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (Online).
Structure: 1-year duration split into two terms, with mid-term and annual exams.

ICAS - Jyotish Praveen

Lineage: Founded by the legendary Dr. B.V. Raman.
Cost: ~₹13,100 total (₹5,500 per semester + one-time ₹1,000 life membership + ₹1,100 exam fee).
Timing: Weekends, 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM (Online).
Structure: 1-year basic course split into two semesters (two papers each).

Questions for the community:

Which curriculum is more rigorous for someone who eventually wants to set the right foundation for astrology ?
How do the teaching styles and faculty compare between the two online formats?
Is BVB's higher price point(double!!) over ICAS justified by the quality of the online instruction?

Appreciate any insights you can share!
