I know this affects all virtualisation products, but Parallels being the predominant player, should be leaning hard on Apple to get this bug fixed. It’s been around since first Golden Gate beta and still not fixed in 27.2 beta.
I’ve been working with a NL provider and have a final quote showing a 7.4% effective rate on the finance. The finance payments quoted reflect this rate within rounding errors.
Today the actual finance provider has sent through the finance schedule for signature. The monthly repayments on the finance reflect between 2-2.5% higher than the NL quote.
Is this a common practice? Talking about $2200 more over a 24 month lease.
Trying to purchase BYD Seal through novated lease. Committed on 29 June and lease company submitted the purchase order to lock-in the 5% novated lease discount.
Received email with documents to sign and they had my name misspelled and no discount on the invoice.
Responded by email and nothing to get details corrected Monday. No response.
Got a phone call yesterday asking when lease company is going to submit a purchase order. Explained details above and they just ignored the explanation the PO was already submitted and get lease provider to submit PO. No acknowledgement of lease discount.
Received new invoice to sign and still no discount.
Lease company rep says BYD is the most difficult brand to deal with. Mistakes galore, issues with vehicles not being prepped for delivery properly, poor handover.
I’m now seriously considering pulling the pin. If BYD cannot demonstrate professional service delivering the car, what can I expect from after sales service?
Anyone else had similar issues during ordering/ delivery with BYD?
Looks like all providers have jacked up their rates as of 1 July.
Supply, Peak, Off Peak have all have all gone up significantly. Looking at OVO and AGL their supply per days has gone from 1.18 to 1.38 and peak has increased by $.07 and offpeak by $.02 per kWh.
The 3 “free” hours are being subsided by increased rates for the rest of the day and the big increase in supply charges.
Looking at purchase of BYD Sealion 7. Should I still worry about parts taking too long for repairs / smash repairs?
I’ve seen the story of Electric Viking having his insurance cancelled and claim rejected on his Xpeng because his insurer classified them as being too hard/expensive to get repaired and taking too long due to parts coming from China with inadequate local distributors.
Looking at electricity plans for EV cheap rates usually 12am-6am for 4.5-5 cents per kw/h.
The sticking point seems to be significantly higher peak and off-peak rates and in some cases supply charge more than doubles (Powershop).
Seems like you’re actually worse off on these plans unless you are charging every night using a type 2 charger and starting at a low SOC.
Am I missing something ?
Is the hack to go upstairs at the airport and flag a Bluebird from the departure drop off still working?
I vaguely recall a claim that this was going to be stopped.
