Randonnées accessibles sans voiture depuis Annecy

Bonjour,

Merci!

Trouble creating an IRS account

Hi,

I recently got ITIN and have a tax balance to pay. I tried to create an IRS account to know my current tax balance (plus interests and penalties). I went through the entire process of verifying my identity by uploading my passport and CP565 notice. I get the following error:

Something Went Wrong

If this error persists, you verified your identity without using a Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification number (ITIN). The IRS currently requires one of these to access online services.

Error code: 6102

TID: 80fd1b...

I understand that I probably had to specify my ITIN earlier and I am now stuck. I don't know what to do. Do I start again and create a new account? Will this look like identity theft since I will now have two accounts with the same passport? Can I delete this account?

My only goal is to pay my taxes but it seems impossible with the IRS.

Any advice will be appreciated!

Thanks

Hello everyone,

I declared an income in 2024, but my ITIN application got denied. My 1040NR was processed then. I applied again for ITIN to be able to pay my taxes. I finally received my ITIN and hopefully, my first declaration was linked to this new ITIN. I sent a copy of my 1040NR with my IRSN on it with my second application. Everything should be fine.

I wanted to pay my taxes using the online platform of the IRS to know exactly my tax balance. I uploaded my documents, but it's taking forever to verify them.

Anyone has been in a similar situation? I just want to pay my taxes and move on. Is there an other way to know the exact tax balance? I was planning on paying with my credit card online, it's a fairly small amount. I only need to know how much.

Thanks
