The state emblem of Haryana

The current state emblem of Haryana isn't much different from the "basic" state emblem style of many states in the country. It follows the same style of a seal that says "Govt of ..." with the Ashok stambh on top. While there isn't anything wrong with it, it could be better.

Inspired by the state emblems of Karnataka and Sikkim, I thought a coat of arms design would be a great state emblem as it would allow multiple elements to represent our state. I found an old coat of arms and edited it with AI to include many elements of our state.

The coat of arms includes:

Blackbuck - State animal

Black Francolin - State bird

Peepal - State tree

Lotus - State flower

Wheat ears to signify the agricultural roots of the state

Satyamev jayte and Ashok stambh to include the national identity.

Would love y'all's opinion on it!

apologies if AI posts are not allowed or the coat of arms looks too busy.

DMRC is planning to have audio ads in Delhi Metro

Source: https://backend.delhimetrorail.com/documents/11133/NIT-DMRC-PB-50.pdf

In a new tender released by the DMRC, they are seeking bids from advertising firms for audio advertisements in the Delhi Metro.

The plan is to have these ads running in 4 lines, with the following rates monthly(they're calling these rates MG minimum guarantee):

Red,Yellow line: 15 lakhs

Blue line: 16 lakhs

Magenta line: 6.5 lakhs

The revenue share for these ads will be 85-15% between DMRC and the Advertising firm. If in a specific month the revenue is greater than MG, DMRC will receive a higher amount based on the share above.

This is just a tender for now but it's great to see the DMRC plan for ways to increase non-fare box revenue. As most of these lines have high traffic during commute hours (which is when I believe they'll run these ads) then it may not even be that disturbing to the users.

[India] Centre likely to launch Rs 5,000 cr [~500 million USD] scheme within three months to reduce carbon emissions in steel sector

Currently India's steel industry has an emission intensity of 2.55 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of crude steel, which is higher than the global average of 1.9 tonnes. Steel making contributes nearly 10-12% of India's total greenhouse gas emissions. As the government plans for a steel making capacity of 300 million tonne by 2030 and 400 million tonnes by 2035, they're encouraging the industry to shift to cleaner means of steel production.

"The government is working on to introduce a major initiative to promote clean technologies in the steel industry with a financial outlay of Rs 5,000 crore. The scheme, named the National Strategy for Sustainable Secondary Steel, is expected to be rolled out within the next three months."

Bhakts not understanding simple logic

They think that the people of India have some special bones to pick with Hinduism. When the majority of your country is Hindu, ofc most people will have had bad experiences with Hinduism and most atheists will be exHindus as well. They think we're the only culture in the world who hates their own culture the most. Literally every religious nut in the world says this because they have the biggest victim complex. Dude your religion isn't special, you get hated the most by virtue of you having the most followers in a region.
