Who’s your arch enemy

Considering we all probably have played with eachother more than once as the game is so niche.

Lets see if any of us have the same arch enemies (or if we are each others biggest opps!)

Drop some player names and what they do and let’s see if we have any recurring players or if anyone feels called out.

I’ll start.

There’s a player called Saracroft who uses a tac shotgun and always (ALWAYS) gets me from behind. Whenever I see the name I just know I have to lock in

Shout out also to august07(randomnumbers)
Dude will wall shoot across the map from the GET GO but still always loses the match 😂😂

Skill level of ‘veterans’

Just a thought I’ve had, but why are the players who are level 999 (or anything above 300 honestly) often so terrible at the game?

It’s a strange thing I find with this game only that just because a player is the highest level it doesn’t translate to their skills at all. So often I’ll be on a team with players double my level (I have played on and off since launch… 2013) and they’re terrible.

I really don’t get it? How can someone play this game that much and still be terrible. As we all know this game has a cult following so you’d think it would have a very competitive online considering it’s so niche. But no, high levels are so, so bad at this game.

I just find it really interesting. Like I said I don’t experience this on any other game where a committed maxed out player is complete pants at the game.

Would love to hear if anyone else has experienced this, having high level teammates that just are completely awful at the game.

And if this post offends you then… sorry 😂

People trolling during weapon selection

Anyone else notice a lot of people trolling during weapon selection screen?

It’s because you can’t see who’s talking so that’s when people start to get really mouthy. Racial slurs or pretending to be other players in the lobby. Anyone else have encounters with this?

Adidas Chinese New Year Jacket UK

Hey everyone, I’m looking for this Adidas Chinese New Year jacket in this blue colour way.

I’m preferably looking for the genuine thing. It feels impossible to find as there are so many reps littered across the market. Anyone know where I can buy the genuine thing in the UK?

Please and thank you

XT5 with 16-80 WR kit lens got hit by a wave

Hey

My Fujifilm xt5 with the 16-80mm weather resistant kit lens got hit by a wave.

Not a sneaker wave, we’re talking the camera was low at like shin height and a wave splashed it.
I understand saltwater on electronics is game over but I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with this sort of incident and how their camera fared.

Full story summed up:

Shin height shooting low, too focused on the shot got hit by a wave. Not fully submerged but it was like someone threw a small bucket of water towards the camera.

The camera kept working in all capacities for another 25 minutes after that. Got the job done shots looked fine.

Took it home. Wiped down with still water, dried. Opened all doors, removed battery, sd card.

There wasn’t water on any interior element (battery compartment, sd cart slots etc)

HOWEVER

Lens was fogging on the body mounted side so I removed it, did the same wipe down gently.
One thing to note, when I took the lens off. There was some water droplets inbetween the lens and body, on the metal mounting area. There was no water on the inner sensor area at all though.

Lens stopped fogging (though it remains off body).

Left camera to dry for about 24 hours (will wait another 12 hours before running more tests)

Paranoias through the roof as I await to test it, but do any better informed people have any insight or advice? Am I f@&?ked? Or do some cameras survive saltwater splashes?

Any sort of feedback would be great!
