Visit
1st time visiting the georgia and the aquarium. Will I have a hard time finding parking? Coming on a friday!
Just a general debate I was having with my sister
Carnival celebration
Sail date is September
Balcony room
My current cruise booked rate is $1700 I paid my deposit and the promotion I am on doesnt require the rest of the payment until August
They currently have a promotion for the same cruise and dates and the price is $1500. I already paid the deposit so I would have to pay the remainder $1200 next monday if I switch to this promotion.
I am thinking of switching since its a few hundred cheaper. My sister on the other hand thinks I need to stick with the current promotion I have.
Which would you pick?
Location question
This will be my 1st time on carnival. Carnival celebration excited but wanted to ask a question.
If i pick room 10397 are the elevators right outside my door, down the hall or down some stairs? I cant tell due to the layout.
I initially wanted the 9th floor but when i looked at a couple videos of carnival celebration I seen that the dining room and noisy areas that I dont want to be above.
Wanted to get some opinions.
Which one would you pick? 1st time on carnival. Only place I have been to is nassau and I liked it. No kids this go round only my spouse and I.
Both dates are around my bday and I do want to view one of carnivals newset ships and this ship was on the list once I narrowed down my dates.
This would also be my 1st long cruise. I have only.ever done no more than 4 days. We would get a balcony because i know i would need a breather and not be around people 24/7 lol.
I do know the cons of sailing in September (hurricane season).
Just a fun discussion
I love the itinerary since I have never been to any of these ports. This will also be my 1st time on one of carnivals *newer* ships which is what made me consider this option. I will be going in September for my birthday (i know the chances of hurricane season.
The only con (being dramatic) lol is the length of the cruise, I have only done 3 or 4 day cruises. So 7 days will be new to me.
I just wanted to open up a little fun discussion to see how everyone felt about longer cruises. It will just be myself and my significant other no kids, this go round.
Where can I find barvarian pretzel? Restaurants not store bought.
reddit.comMini rant lol
There’s a lot of social talk around “the man is supposed to pay for everything.” My man mainly pays for everything; it’s 60/40. He doesn’t ask me to pay, but I want to. He paid for our last vacation, so I told him I’ll pay for the hotel (since we are driving) on our next vacay to Atlanta in two weeks.
My love language is also gift-giving, so I like to buy my man meaningful things sometimes. My sister hates this dynamic. She says a man is supposed to pay for everything, and men are supposed to get little things. If you know who Sprinkle Sprinkle is, that’s my sister’s thought process. Men, do you like when your woman pays for things sometimes? It’s not about the money; it’s the thought that counts for me
EDIT: to add we dont live together so he doesn't pay my bills. He just mainly pays for our dinners/mini surprises here and there/my hair, nails etc sometimes/some vacations. I do small things for him also in addition to paying for some vacays.
Visted NOLA for the 1st time this past weekend. I went to the French Quarter outside market. I seen the same pink sun dress at 4 different stands and they all wanted $60. The lowest was $45. I am now googling if i can find the dress online for cheaper 🤣. Rare chance I will find it, I know!
