Rule #5.5 - I'm specifically looking for variants from what if style universes, ones where their origin story takes that little shift, that results in a whole new variants

Rule #6 - reboots also count, as long as it isn't a sequel to the original, and the backstory of the character is different enough

Rule #7 - only 1 version of a character is allowed in the roster
(example, if Ben 23 gets in the roster, Ben 10 from the 2016 reboot isn't allowed)

Rule #8 - only 3 characters per franchise is allowed in the entire roster

so here's what I think what we might see on the 25th

theory 1 - the reveal of the next bunch of free characters

theory 2 - the reveal (and maybe release) of a brand new Grand Prix

theory 3 - a big update that adds voices for the DLC characters (and rival interactions for Tangle and Whisper, since their inclusion is a canon event)

theory 4 - the reveal of a Racer Ballot (like the Smash Ballot from 2015)

theory 5 - multiples from above

-DC Comics (now with new characters like Flash, Green Lantern and more)
-LEGO Ninjago (moved forward from season 4, all the way to Dragons Rising)
-Sonic the Hedgehog (from just 1 character, to his expanded main canon cast)
-LEGO Dimensions (for a playable Lord Vortech and X-PO)
-Dungeons & Dragons (a possible replacement for Lord of the Rings, wich would provide more unique characters)
-LEGO BIONICLE (Tahu has gotten more and more appearances latly, just without sets)
-Adventure Time (just now with all seasons present, Distant Lands, Fionna and Cake, ect.)
-The Addams Family (characters would be highly unique and add gothic comedy)
-Transformers (without Toys-to-Life they seem very possible)
-Minecraft (it just makes sense with how popular it is)
-Ben 10 (while it doesn't have a new series, it's still highly popular)
-Harry Potter (while a bit controversial at times, it's still a big money maker & gets a new show)
-The Mask (the more niche 90s pick, but would be filled with humor and abilities)
-Wonka (highly iconic, and to make sure nobody is left out, he can switch between his different incarnations)
-Wicked (a more modern and popular replacement for Wizard of Oz)
-Beetlejuice (with his recent 2nd movie, it makes sense to bring him back)
-Wallace & Gromit (for the recent LEGO and Aardman collabs + with how iconic they are)
-The Pirates (to add a bit more wacky comedy, from those LEGO and Aardman collabs)
-Stranger Things (LEGO and Netflix are close, and this is easily their most popular Netflix original)
-Scooby-Doo! (still as iconic and still getting new incarnations to this day)
