What alternatives are there to tobacco pouches?

I spent more than a decade smoking cigarettes and then another five or so years vaping.

The only thing that could get me off the vapes was Zyns, but I appear to be badly allergic to them and come out in hives when I use them (apparently it’s a thing)

What other nicotine alternatives are there?

I’ve tried all of the ‘official’ ones, from gums to lozenges to patches to sprays. None of them give you any sort of buzz like Zyns do so I always end up going back to vapes. They are also obscenely priced, costing almost as it did to smoke cigarettes.

Moving over from vaping to nicotine pouches.

Has anyone made the same transition? How was it? They stop my nicotine cravings but I don't get any of the same satisfaction from them like I did from vaping. I have no idea why anyone who didn't vape/smoke in the first place would take them up.

Thinking of painting my fridge... anything I should know?

I’m thinking of painting my fridge. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I’m looking to paint the door with a primer and then several layers of eggshell (off-white) to make a wavy impasto sort of effect. And then an accent colour (brown) for the handles.

Everything in my house is the colour of my choosing but my kitchen appliances. If it looks good I’ll probably have a go on the cooker and washing machine too.

Anything I should know? And will magnets still stick to it?

Listening to podcasts on 1.8x speed

I have listened to podcasts on 1.5x for some time now.

I mostly listen to news podcasts and there’s so much to get through I’d like to bump up to 1.8x but it’s too fast for me to follow

Does anybody listen (and comprehend) on 1.8x, or even 2x? If so, did you work your way up from 1.5x, and how long did it take?
