Emprunt pour financement VE

Hello,

I have lost my 9-year-old baby baby because of cancer and I can't stop thinking that I want to join her.

TW: >!cat cancer, suicidal ideation!<

My cat Lilie was diagnosed with large-cells lymphoma 3 months ago.

She was fine and then suddenly started eating less and less so we went to the vet.

We started chemotherapy right away.

It worked for a month, the tumor almost disappeared and then it stopped working and the cancer developed quickly. Other tumors appeared, she started having even stronger nauseas and almost died two weeks ago because of it.

Her oncologist saved her life and we started another type of chemo.

Unfortunately, her health didn't improve and she developed hepatitis at the same time.

She stopped eating totally even with her medication to reduce nausea.

On Friday, the vet told us that the resistance of her cancer would not allow for a total remission.

And that even if we started the treatment against hepatitis at the same time, it was going to be long and potentially painful for her, with, at best, more bad days than good ones. And not a lot of time left.

We took the decision to prevent her from suffering the following Monday.

We spent 3 days showering her with love, taking pictures and making memories.

I knew it would be hard after her passing but I didn't expect it to be this hard.

On the way back after the last goodbye, I had a strong reaction in the car. From what I remember, I kept shouting that I wanted her with me, that I couldn't live without her.

She fought so hard against cancer for 3 months that sometimes I wonder if we accepted euthanasia too soon. I feel like I betrayed her. Sometimes I feel like I killed her.

We are 2 days later and I still don't want to live anymore.

I keep thinking that I want to die.

I am under medication to lessen my feelings (Alprazolam/Xanax). But as soon as it stops working, I am back in a distressed state.

I keep replaying her last moments in my head.

I haven't left my bed since. I sleep a lot thanks to the Alprazolam. It helps me not to feel anything.

My boyfriend is taking care of me and our 3 other cats. He has to manage his pain and everything else and I feel guilty for this too even if he keeps telling me that he is OK and that I need to rest.

I think the only reason I am still here is because I don't want my boyfriend and my 3 other cats to suffer the way I do now.

But I just can't imagine a world without her.

Not leaving my bed allows me to ignore the fact that life around me goes on even when she is not here anymore.

My doctor put me on medical leave for a week and even after talking about my suicidal thoughts, she doesn't take it seriously.

I will see my therapist tomorrow, I hope it will help a bit but I don't want to hear again and again that I should just wait to feel better with time.

I shared my life with Lilie for almost 8 years.

She chose me at the shelter when I was looking to adopt a second cat.

She stuck with me during my whole visit and tried to sneak into my bag. I knew she was the one.

She was so clever, full of life and love.

She could communicate her needs and feelings so well.

She loved eating. You could throw a piece of dry food through the room and she would start chasing it to eat it and she would come back for more.

She had such expressive eyes. We called her our Disney Princess.

I miss her. I can't go on without her.
