Basically every residential installation I've seen of a home EV charger has the cables sloppily coiled around some plastic wart on the wall. Even if the device itself wasn't so ugly, no one has time to wind those heavy cables in an attractive symmetrical way. Boxes for these cables, which would at least hide things, don't appear to be the right size, because they're all pretty small - demanding you to wind them tightly with even more constraints.
Is there an attractive way to keep an charger cable tidy?
I'll be a new PHEV owner soon, and looking into EVSE installs.
I basically have a choice: either install the EVSE outside where it gets direct sunlight for 12 hours a day, or inside and struggle with wiring.
Questions:
a) If I install an EVSE inside a vented metal box, is that actually going to help in terms of temperatures? Sure it keeps the direct light off the device, but it's still going to be hot (100+ F). I imagine looping the cable into the box every time I charge it will be a huge annoyance - are there boxes that are good for this?
b) If I keep the charger in a garage, then I need some way to pass the cable through the wall. While the under-door protectors seem fine for the short term, I'd like a classier install that is also code compliant and also serviceable when standards change. Is there any way I can run a cable through a conduit from the EVSE to a port on the exterior wall? I wouldn't feel so bad letting the cable cook outside.
I was struck by the Rein-like kit, though I haven't had a chance to play her in game. First time I've seen the tank role have a 10 minute queue time.
I didn't get a chance to test the shield, but the fact that it's smaller makes it actually feel more relevant to me than Rein's shield. Rein's shield in some sense is too big, because we use it mostly to protect ourselves (As rein mains). Outside of the shield variants in stadium, I think rein would actually benefit from a shield like DMon's.
I was surprised her thrusters don't let her fly. Even if she needs to be different from D.va, there is a bit of disbelief suspension necessary, at least to me.
The sword dynamics (left slash, right slash, jab, and ultimate) seem nice, but the sound is unsatisfying. But I was only hitting training zone bots.
So, I'm in the weird situation of having double Yumeko and triple Karato. I never ended up building the double yumeko trunda team, even though I have trunda, because I have a decent Hydra team and never managed to spare enough of the top level gear for Trunda. Also I never rolled a decent soul for her.
But double yumeko is a crazy threat in many places, and individually they have been extremely useful. Both are over 300 speed, and I have accuracy yumeko and resistance yumeko. Super useful to have these options for LA picks. But I have never used them in a reset team. So - big teams use double yumeko aside from the classic trunda monster team? I've heard you need trunda to bonkers numbers to make anything happen, and I haven't bothered. I have a great marius though, and one karato is solid too.
It's just too invasive.
Is this the horrible RNG that it sounds like it is? These are basically the only stars I still need and .. seriously this is lame AF.
Has anyone used a pulseox that synchronizes with a resmed CPAP? I've been wanting to do this to better understand how my therapy is working. I realize there are prescription devices (e.g. Nonin) but are there any alternatives?
I wrestled a lot in high school and really enjoyed keeping my neck in good shape with neck bridges. But I only learned how to do bridges with a wrestling mat, and I don't really have space for full mat at home. Is there a really small one I can use just for neck bridges? Nothing out there seems to have the right density.
>!So during the events of the main novel, Jessica undergoes the Agony via the Water of Life rather than the Rossak Drug, which was the standard poison for the Agony for thousands of years.!<
>!What I don’t understand is why the BG didn’t know this was a way to undergo the Agony even though the native Revernd Mothers of the Fremen, established by Missionara Protectiva mothers, had been doing this for generations? Were the missionara sisters/mothers so isolated that they didn’t communicate something so critical for thousands of years? The fremen have been on Arrakis for many generations by the time of the Main novel. It seems crazy that the sisterhood doesn’t know about this other way to undergo the Agony.!<
I messed up big time. Im stuck in Korea with the wrong hose - I have a resmed 11 at home and an AirMini for travel. But I brought the resmed hose.
The AirMini has a white plastic adapter for standard non-heated hoses. Looks like this:
But the resmed 11 hose I have is heated. I have the regular default hose for the resmed 11. It looks like it would fit, but can anyone confirm? I Don’t care about the heating. Does anyone know how to make it compatible?
I'm sorry I wasn't sure who else might know. I don't think this breaks any subreddit rules, but Mods please forgive me if it does.
In the first few seconds of this video, the lead dancer throws a hat in a tight circle around his own body. It seems impossible, even if it was a boomerang or frizbee, to achieve a throw so tight. So I was wondering how it was done, and if anyone here might know.
I am a professor. One of my duties is to march in annual commencement ceremonies. In fact there are other ceremonies that are optional for me. I would do this more, because I enjoy contributing to the atmosphere of the institution, but I do not own a graduation robe. Why?
In the US, a graduation robe is a baggy nylon or acrylic garment with a number of nylon velvet adornments. The PhD version, which I am obligated to wear, is specialized in color and design to the institution that granted my degree. Upon graduation, my alma mater asked for 800 dollars to keep the robe. *fuck that*. Renting the garment is often north of 175 dollars. *fuck that twice*.
I'd like to source such a garment from China or Korea. I visit both on a semi-regular basis and could make the order and payment in person. Unfortunately, however, I can't exactly hit up your average men's bespoke suit shop, because they take one look at it and wave you off. On the other hand, there must be people out there that can make me one for a good price.
Can anyone point me at some companies where I could inquire? Also, to the extent that graduation robes are most definitely *not* fashion, I beg all your pardons on the appropriateness of this subreddit. If you could point me to a subreddit that you think fits better, I'd be very grateful.
The daily struggle to get places and do things is just overwhelming. If there is any source of regular exhaustion or overstim, it’s the constant management of my 9 yo’s basic needs. Tying shoes, wearing shoes, eating breakfast, etc. she can tell the time she just feels zero connection to the situation of being late. Can anyone point me to some advice on getting her to be more sensitive about being prompt?
My student made a session that apparently comes from a new version of pymol (2004.000). This has never happened to me in 25+ years of using pymol. Is this a new thing?
