You ready to make the world a better place?

You ready to make the world a better place?
I'm not trying to exaggerate, but I've noticed Zootopia has a HUGE fanbase in China compared to many other Disney movies. I was wondering why that is.
From what I understand, there are a few reasons:
First, the movie released at the right time (2016) when Disney animation was already very popular in China, and Zootopia had a really strong marketing push there.
Second, the story is very relatable in a simple way-animals living in a modern city, chasing dreams, dealing with prejudice, teamwork, etc. It's easy to understand and very emotional without needing complex cultural background.
Third, characters like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde became super iconic. A lot of fans love their personalities and chemistry, so the fandom grew fast online and in fan art communities.
Also, China has a very strong animation fan culture, especially for cute + stylized characters, and Zootopia fits that perfectly.
So it's not just "China likes it randomly"-it's timing, storytelling, and character design all working together
Vacation january 2026 hong kong disneyland it was so special
Back in 2016, watching Zootopia felt like stepping into a whole new world. I didn't realize back then how special it was-just pure excitement, laughs, and that feeling of being a kid with nothing else to worry about.
Now it hits different. I wish I could experience it again for the first time... but time doesn't go backwards. Still, those memories stay forever
The beginning of an unexpected journey.
Ezno, a human survivor, and Salem, a rabbit warrior, come from completely different worlds. Their first meeting wasn't friendly, but through trust, hardship, and survival, they slowly became loyal companions.
This artwork features the two main protagonists of my original series, After Wildlife, a post-apocalyptic adventure where nature has reclaimed the world and intelligent animal civilizations have emerged after humanity's collapse
I bought Skyrim on Steam in May because my half-brother recommended it to me. I had never played it before.
When I first launched the game, my honest reaction was, "This game is old." The graphics looked outdated compared to modern games, and I didn't understand why people still loved a game from 2011.
But I kept playing.
A few hours turned into days. Days turned into weeks.
Now, one month later, I'm completely in love with Skyrim.
The graphics don't matter to me anymore.
What made me fall in love was the world, the lore, the music, the freedom, and the feeling of adventure. Every time I play, I find something new. I keep telling myself I'll stop after one quest, but then I discover another cave, another story, or another place to explore.
I've spent so many nights playing longer than I planned because I just don't want to leave the world.
I finally understand why people still talk about Skyrim after all these years. It's not because of the graphics. It's because the game makes you feel like you're living another life in another world.
Honestly, I've become so attached to Skyrim that sometimes I wish I could actually enter the game and explore it for real.
Did anyone else start playing Skyrim years after release and end up loving it this much?
I know a lot of players choose Aela, Mjoll, or Ysolda, but for me it's Shahvee.
Yes, she's an Argonian, and honestly I don't care that she's not human. What made me like her is her personality. She's one of the kindest people in Skyrim. Even though she's faced a lot of hardship and discrimination in Windhelm, she stays positive and treats others with respect.
She's hardworking, humble, and doesn't act like she's better than anyone. When I talk to her, she feels more genuine than many other marriage candidates in the game.
I also like her design. Her face and overall
appearance stand out to me, and I think Bethesda did a great job making her memorable. But what really makes me want to marry her is that she's a good person. In a world full of dragons, war, thieves, ssassins, Shahvee is
just trying to live an honest life.
Who's your favorite Skyrim spouse and why?
This is my CQB (close-quarters battle) loadout. I use the SPC9 for controllable recoil, the G19 as a backup, and the Mirror Gun to safely check doors before entering. I prefer heavy armor because survival is more important than speed in dangerous missions.
I should more buy some zootopia collection in a future someday hmm do you have a collection? Everybody

Get ready for AFTER WILDLIFE, a new comic series on November 2, 2026!

In 2055, humanity is on the brink, and wildlife has evolved into something entirely new. Salem has adapted perfectly to the ruins, but Ezno is an anomaly-a human whose very nervous system acts as a weapon against the

If you have feelings with a fictional character right here
comments? What you going to do?
Over a Decade with Judy Hopps – My Personal Story
I wanted to open up about something pretty personal because I haven't really shared it with anyone before, and I'm genuinely curious if any of you have felt a similar way.
It all started when I was about 10 years old. I saw Zootopia, and right away, I was completely captivated by Judy Hopps. At first, I just thought of it as a typical childhood crush, but as the years went by, it evolved into something much more profound and different.
Fast forward to today, I'm 20. It’s officially been more than 10 years, and I don't really see Judy in a sexual or romantic light anymore. Instead, she’s become one of the most significant fictional characters in my life.
Whenever I’m feeling stressed out, overthinking things, worrying about what’s next, or just feeling the pressure of everyday life, thinking about Judy or rewatching Zootopia brings me this really unique sense of calm and peace. It’s kind of hard to put into words for people who haven’t experienced it, but she just embodies so much of what I admire – hope, genuine kindness, unwavering determination, and the importance of never giving up.
Sometimes, it honestly feels like she’s a real person woven into my memories, even though I absolutely know she's a fictional character. I'm fully aware of the boundary between fiction and reality, but on an emotional level, she's been a consistent presence through so many different stages of growing up.
My childhood wasn't always smooth sailing, and I think Judy became this incredible symbol of encouragement for me. Her inherent optimism and sheer courage stuck with me long after I was a kid. Instead of fading away as I got older, my appreciation for her just naturally shifted into something more mature and comforting.
I realize some people might find this a bit odd, but for me, it's not about obsession or some fantasy. It's about a real emotional connection to a character who genuinely made a positive impact on my life and helped me navigate some challenging times.
The reason I'm sharing all this is that I truly want to know if I'm the only one who feels this way.
Has anyone else had a fictional character who has remained important to them for a decade or even longer? Maybe they were your very first crush, your go-to comfort character, or someone who really inspired you through difficult periods.
I would absolutely love to hear your stories and find out that I'm not alone in this.
