Cannot connect to things like photos, safari, imsg, all noting things like cannot connect to server. Other apps work.

My Macbook does not seem to be able to load any native apple maps, (iMsg, photos, apple tv, apple music) citing that it cannot connect with server. I tried force shutting down multiple times, changing wifi. Nothing seems to work.
Is there anything I can do?
