I just beat Gog, and the moment Proof of a Hero kicked in after his nuke was probably one of my favorite Monster Hunter moments so far.
As you can probably tell, I’m still a pretty new player. I’ve beaten base World (I didn’t continue Iceborne), and right now I’m playing Rise alongside Wilds.
Do they do moments like this often throughout the series? I can imagine finally hearing Proof of a Hero after getting absolutely beaten up by a really difficult monster for 15 minutes would be such a hype moment.

I just beat chameleos and I’m wondering when I should start farming for armor sets and armor set skills. I’m not necessarily having any trouble right now, I’m using nargacuga sns with 5 crit eye 2 crit boost and 3 wex. I have the sunbreak crab mission but I want to reach hr50 for the true ending.

Returning SNS player here. A friend told me the weapon got some changes to its moveset, especially the sliding slash/dash i-frames. I used to spam that move all the time lol, so I’m curious how much has changed.

I’m also looking for some advice on what to grind next. I’m HR 115 and I stopped playing shortly after Mizutsune was added. Coming back now, there’s so much content that I honestly find it a bit overwhelming.
What should I prioritize? I was thinking of doing the AT monsters first and then Lagiacrus, but after that should I tackle Omega before Gog, or the other way around?
I’d appreciate any pointers on a good progression path. Thanks!

I recently built a PC with an RTX 5080, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB Gen 5 SSD. The entire build cost me around $3,075. Considering the prices in my region, I think that’s a pretty reasonable deal.

I’m curious how much an equivalent build would cost in other regions, particularly the United States and Europe. I’d like to compare prices and get a better understanding of how hardware costs differ around the world.

I have a 3060 ti and a 5600x and i want to slowly upgrade my pc. I plan on buying the 5080 and psu first so ill temporarily use the 5600x. after that i plan on upgrading the rest of the parts. id like your thoughts on the plan and how good the 5600x will perform on 1440p.

Edit: I plan on upgrading to AM5. The plan is first PSU + GPU then a month or so later mobo + cpu + ram + ssd + cooler. Both purchases should be around the same price here in my region.
