has anyone here tried glp 1 medication for weight loss before iui?

Hey guys we have been TTC for about 9 years. I used to be a skinny woman at the start of my journey but now I've gained a lot of weight mainly due to cortisol and infertility-related depression. I've also been binge eating and unhealthy eating for a while now so thats also an issue. I was reading a couple of subs a while ago in the IVF space and I saw G͏LP mentioned where women were talking about going on GL͏Ps and stopping before treatment for weight loss for better results. So I was wondering if that is the case for IUI too. I am not a scientist or anything who understands medicine but I have read that losing weight can help improve ovarian function. I mentioned this to my doctor and she recomm͏ended a certain br͏and. But I have already taken way too many medicines throughout my journey and I have had really bad experiences with doctors recommending specific expe͏nsive brands. I have taken so many medications that I feel like my body and maybe my liver will not tolerate just anything at this point. I also looked it up on the internet and the reviews were pretty mixed so I am not sure how to go about it. If there is a proper way to research options before spending that kind of money. did some manual research and I also saw some resources mentioned. Listing them here PubMed, StatPearls, ClinicalTrials.gov, Drugs.com, MDPI Pharmaceutics and the ADA Standards of Care but would i be able to understand them, probably not.. So yeah I was wondering how people go about this or if you even recommend going on GLPs before IUI or should I just go ahead with IUI? It is expensive and I cannot really afford IVF so IUI is basically my only option. Sorry if this post is a mess.. I just wrote what came to my mind.

Anyone else catch the Rubio clip about using Spanish to understand Italian this weekend?

Came across this clip where Rubio mentions understanding words said in Italian without earphones because of his Spanish.

And casually mentions that his Bab͏bel subscr͏iption lapsed and he needed to renew it. lol.

The Babbel bit is funny, but the more interesting part is the Spanish to Italian mutual intelligibility.

It's one of the more underrated advantages of being a Spanish speaker.

Spanish and Italian share the majority of their vocabulary, so a lot of what you already know transfers directly, your brain is pattern-matching more than it's learning from scratch.

I learnt Spanish before starting Italian and I can follow along some conversations even when I can't respond, which is its own weird but cool experience.

Anyone else had Spanish carry them through Italian in a real situation? Curious how far it actually got you.
