I, 37F am engaged to 47M for 2 years. My fiance owns a large security co. & provides security to all of our city's major sporting arenas, MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA & concert venues. He gets FREE tickets to any sporting event & discount concert tix. My fiance is a veteran & ex police officer. My birthday was in April and he told me we would go away for my birthday. No trip happened due to him covering shifts for off military employees. I understand work, but he did" nothing" for my birthday. No dinner, no small gift, no flowers. He said we would do a trip later, that was in April. We attended a Cubs game, but we ALWAYS go. It's nothing special, we get free tix. He could have honored my birthday somehow, but CHOSE to do nothing ! Now it's the end of May, his birthday is June 2nd. IDK If I'm supposed to buy him something for his birthday. I work full-time, but make a third of what he makes. IDK If he's trying to avoid spending money on me. I think he expects me to shell out thousands for his birthday weekend. This is what I have done in the past. This is the first year that my birthday got shafted.

AITAH for not inviting my fiance's mom gown shopping. "Older" bride here. I 45 y/o, my fiance 55 y/o M are planning a Florida elopement beach wedding. We live in Ohio. I suffered an accident years ago & have limited use of my arm. It looks fine, but doesn't bend well. My fiance's mom is 88 years old, With medical problems, difficulty walking, AND is 100% German & speaks " little" English. She wants to go gown shopping with me. She is nice but I don't understand her. I don't want her going because of my vehicle. I drive a large SUV & my own medical issues, I'm unable to help her in and out of the car due to my disabled arm. I "really" do not want her to go out shopping with me because her mobility issues, my inability to help her in and out of the car. She barely speaks English, she points and asks "This?", and says "Yes" To everything, especially when she doesn't understand... My fiance indirectly asked me to take his mom to try on dresses with me, but I think this idea is bad. AITAH ?

I am an RN for a traveling, in home nursing agency. We lost clients due to medical insurance changes & are unable to fulfill 8 hours a day, due to client loss. Our work website lists clients address, diagnosis & personal information due to filling in for co workers who are off. The work website GPS pings our location when we log on to check client address..BUT, we are NOT issued agency phones & use our own personal phones, but never give clients our number. Is there ANY way for our employer to ping our location on our personal cell phones? Everyone uses different companies. Verizon, T-Mobile, etc. Agency does NOT provide phones, nor pay or comp us for any work related phone or internet use.

I, 37 F am engaged to 47 M. We Have been together over 2 years. My fiance is very financially comfortable. He is the owner of a local city entertainment business. We get free tickets to any concert or sporting event in the city. NFL, MLB, all local concerts. He had work events the whole month of my birthday (April) & told me that we would have to wait until June/July to go away for weekend, when he wasn't working events. I get that, but he gave me "nothing" for my birthday. No small gift, earrings, a team hoodie NOTHING. He claims we will do something "later" but will forget, as he always does. His Birthday is June 1. AITAH for NOT buying him a Bday gift for his June BDay ?
