How to stay enrolled in Sprong 2027?

I am currently enrolled as a student for Fall 2026. I readmitted myself as a student Summer 2026 and intended to take classes in the Fall but bc they deactivated my account due to secondary identification I had to drop my classes and will have to wait another semester. My problem is I know valencia will disenroll me again if I don't take classes for three semesters. So, how do I keep myself enrolled for Spring 2027 to register for classes? How will I know when they will lock my account? Should I ask advising? I dont want to go through deactivating my account again before Spring semester and lose my chance to sign up for classes.

Not feeling enough with my career and life choices

I'm 29 f muslim, single, wear hijab, work full-time as an office manager for a clinic. I have my masters and bachelors but never became a doctor and never was able to do well enough in college to pursue the actual career I wanted because I had untreated depression and lack of focus.

I do not make as much money as my siblings because of this and I still live at home with my parents due to my lack of financial security in life. Also, my job is stressful and nonrewarding bc I am overworked but I cannot leave bc my resume is not hireable except for entry level jobs.

My degree is not useful in many ways except in healthcare and business but it mostly niche and you can get a job in it only through other people. Its basically non-clinical work that is not long-term.

If I were to start over to pursue a doctor's degree...I'd be unable to balance school and work because it would require me to quit one or the other to devote my time to it. I have not enough money to go back to school either except for one class a semester at best. Because of this I have developed severe depression.

I am stuck in my career choice and I am also getting older for marriageable age. My mom has been trying to help me get married but because most of the muslim men I talk to only want women who lack personality and no desire to work I am put off by conversations with them and they end up rejecting me anyway because I think they sense my tension and opposition to that sentiment.

I'm crying as I write this because I want every Muslim girl to please not be like me and think someone is going to save you. Please pull through your mental health and prioritize getting a good career even if its one you hate. If it makes money that is more important than finding a husband or choosing the easy path towards a career.

Random selection for identity verification

Anyone else going through this? Apparently I was randomy selected to verify my identity in the month of July even though I had enrolled many months ago and registered for classes. They sent me emails in July that I had to go to the admissions office to prove my identity?! I am a U.S. born citizen and provided all that during admission but suddenly they selected me a month before the semester starts to do that. So unlucky for me I wasn't checking my emails and they deactivated my account because of that so now I have to pay a late fee, pro ably lose the classes I enrolled for, all because I look brown in my picture and my name isn't white. Since when florida colleges start making this racist rule?

Getting married versus making a career for yourself

Would you rather work on your career and yourself or move your entire life and start fresh somewhere just to get married to your husband who lives in another location?

I am trying to to persuade my family that working on my career is a better option but of course they want to make sure I get married before I hit 30. I'm not sure I want to trust the statistics of getting married to a stranger than working on myself.
