So been fighting thyroid condition all my life, been on levo from 100 to now 75. Had been about 190 pounds in 2020, now started the year at about 140 pounds, now averaging 150, which is way too overweight (51 M at 5'10")
Last tests were TSH 0.06 and T4 1.22, so the doctor lowered the dose. However, still too overweight with a 32-inch stomach, so I'm wondering if anyone knows diet pills to recommend along with the levo? Should also mention I'm on 100 sertraline for anxiety and 40 mg of pantoprazole for other problems, but have to get down to 135 pounds or so to be healthier.
So I've long fought hyperthyroid, now a 51-year old male. I've made a lot of changes in diet and exercise with thyroid, had been down to 140 pounds when the year began while taking abou 150 mgs of levo which was a bit more than the 88 doctor prescribed. Cut to 88 while worried about gaining closer to 150 pounds despite more exercise/dieting/fasting.
So my labs from physical came back with Free T4 at 1.22 with W reflex to free T4 at 0.06. He claims too high so changing my meds to 75 mg. Yet worried on further weight gain (I'm also on 100 mg Zolofot for anxiety) as already overweight at 150 pounds so wondering if right to listen to him. At the least a safe weight loss supplement to go with?
Today's CSN vid as Chuck and Ozzy talk about Stacey King. Striking how Ozzy says he talked to the guy literally yesterday and both obviously hit hard by losing not just a colleague but a friend.

Odd as it sounds, I rarely actually took vacation weeks in my time at UPS (part-time working unloading/loading in hub) as I needed the money and exercise. That was okay, but starting earlier this year, supes told me I had to take those off, in case they had to let guys go home earlier, I'd be blocking them from getting out due to rules. So accepted that.
Now, in the last month, thanks to a nearby hub shut down, my hub much busier so longer hours and no one going home early. So, I'm wondering if I still need to take the week off or not, as even with a 12-mile commute, I need the money, it helps me keep weight off working, and I'm not sure if violating the rules by not taking them. Anyone else just used to working full on rather than a week's break?
Tied to a post I made below, I try to eat lower-calorie foods and a lot of zero-sugar things like yogurt or such. Yet some items I do get worried on low calorie but higher in sodium or carbs. Yet I hear that's not always bad as some of it is okay. I'm just trying to see if other struggle with this, always checking ingredients etc and if I should just be focusing more on calorie count than other factors.
So here's the thing: I have a thyroid condition so taking meds for that. Also anxiety issues, so some Sertaline on that. I had been doing a 150mg dose of the latter and noted weight gain. For the record, I'm a 51 year old 5'10" male. I had been 190 about five years ago but thanks to thyroid meds, working out and cutting on fats/sugars etc, I was once down as low as 137 pounds, averaging 140. Now, however, a bit over 150-155 pounds so worried on being overweight again.
So, cutting on various snacks etc and wondering if possible to have a daily snack of a single frozen waffle with zero sugar syrup rather than a soft pretzel I usually have as a snack. It's tricky as for some reason I cannot stand any green vegetables, which hurts. Just seeing if a single waffle a day might be better as it's calories vs carbs vs sugars and such and just trying to get closer to 140 again.
I'm trying to log onto the website to pay my bill. It keeps saying I need to change my password and I keep doing it but when I try to enter it, it sends me to the "how to reset password" page with putting in SS number and such. Is this happening to anyone else?
