The shovelware was free and I don't have a lot of time to spare this week. Getting married on Saturday so time is limited but I need to scratch the itch!

Firewatch is leaving Game Pass on the 15th if anyone else is yet to grab the 1000G.

So glad I got to add this to my collection, 13 years later. Fucking stellar!

Year Two since I started lending achievement hunting more of my attention when playing games.

This started off as a reason to work through my backlog and save some money while I was planning my wedding but it has turned into a deep dive of games I never thought I'd end up playing and re-experiencing childhood favourites with a new perspective.

It definitely reinvigorated the joy of playing games for me and has absolutely got me out of the 'open library for half an hour, doom scroll, turn console off, repeat' rut.

I enjoyed the first game so much I immediately started the second and blasted through it in a day. Can you tell I'm not at work this week?

As someone who missed out on the FF franchise until XV came out, this was a fun time! I might just go on a little binge this week and do the rest of the Pixel Remasters.
