Do you wheel your bike around the supermarket? How do you manage it all?

Hi all. I have a C-line electric and too scared to lock it up when I go to the supermarket but I find wheeling the bike around partially folded to be pretty difficult. Always feels off-balance and not particularly smooth on the little wheels.

Are there any tips or photos you can share about how you do this? I have the bike bag on the front which of course doesn’t have tonnes of space once you factor in the battery.

If Vision Pro is as good as dead, how can we properly use & enjoy spacial videos/photos?

I’ve been capturing lots of spacial content on my iPhone of my dog and other special moments, and although I don’t have or could afford a Vision Pro, did think at some point it’d be great to view that content in the way it’s intended.

However given that hardware hasn’t taken off and unlikely to be replaced in its current form, I’m interested to know what people think will give us the opportunity to view spacial content in the future? I loved the idea of seeing those videos in a more immersive way but can’t think - outside of Vision Pro - how that could be done?

What do you make yourself at home, that’s better than a ‘shop bought’ version?

I want to feel inspired! I’m keen to start making my own bread - sourdough - but hate the idea of hard to eat, tough loaves. I want a soft sourdough… is that possible?

But it got me thinking… what do you make at home that you are confident is better than any version you could buy in a shop?

How to stop my sleep music impacting algorithm/history?

I’m confused about this setting under my Sleep focus. What’s the difference between the two toggles? I figured there should only be the bottom one. Do they both need to be off? 🫠

What’s one of your top-tier childhood memories?

As mundane as it sounds, I have a very, very fond memory of heading to the Co-op on a Saturday morning with my Mam, back when they had department stores rather than just convenience stores. I was probably 7 or 8.

Our local branch had a really nice cafe, that was decked out in a ‘Mediterranean‘ type theme with little tiled sloping roofs and vines hanging down. I was besotted with it. We would take our tray around, pick what we wanted to eat, and then sit together and enjoy it.

I can’t remember the food, but I loved being with her and spending our Saturday mornings together as I was practically glued to her hip, and this was one of our rituals.

I‘d love to hear yours.

Does anybody do the Mindful Cooldowns?

I noticed that they don’t seem to add many of these, and so I wanted to get an idea of whether anybody on this sub actually does them?

I like the idea of them in principle but they’re a little confusing - for example, they include relaxation (mindfulness) as well as stretching. But we already have dedicated Meditation workouts.

I feel they could be improved by potentially refocusing to ‘Flexibility’ and just being more focused on stretches...

What’s the most random fact you know?

Today I learnt that owls don’t make the sound ‘twit twoo’… they do one or the other (females ‘twit’ and males ‘twoo’). So you’re actually hearing a pair of owls gossiping... 🦉💬🦉

What phrases or terminology make your skin crawl, and you’d happily banish if you had the chance?

I have two that I really, really can’t stand…

  • ”[Something] is cooked”. No idea where this came from but recently it’s everywhere and sooooo annoying. “The UK is cooked”. errr shut up please.
  • ”Say it louder for the people in the back”. This makes me want to vomit.

I ask because although I’m very much a fan of both, I’ve just polished off some more chocolate after my dinner tonight. It’s a habit I can’t seem to break - I just have a major sweet tooth.

Are you more of a sweet or savoury type of person?

Hi everyone. I’m keen to find a way to easily mount my DJI Osmo 360 camera to by Brompton, but after some searching I can’t seem to find any suitable brackets. Has anybody else done this and could give me some tips, please?

Hi all. I’m keen to get a 360 but a quick search online suggests there might be an updated model coming fairly soon. does anybody know more about this? I don’t know DJI much as a company and how they typically treat their release schedule etc… I’d have to buy one now only for a new model to drop soon after!
